“Located right in the pedestrianised centre of Obernai, which retains all the charm of this historic Alsace town. The hotel itself is essentially a restaurant downstairs (in a street of restaurants) with some rooms above. Everything seems to have been recently refurbished – or maybe it’s just very well maintained – so, despite being in an old building it all seems very clean and fresh. The quadruple room was good, if a little cramped. The bathroom was also very small and the toilet made some extraordinary industrial noises after each flush. The wifi worked fine and breakfast was good with good personal service.”
