“Good location, 10 minute walk to the centre. We had a beautiful view of the town spears, the river and the historical bridge. Staff was very welcoming and ready to help”
“Very reasonable price, for 2 lovely comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, with great choice of cereal, breads juices (incl ginger shots), cheeses and meats. Particularly impressive pastries too!
Little extra touches, like water dispensers near the lifts on each floor.
We also ate in the restaurant in the evening - very enjoyable. There is also an outdoor terrace area for al fresco drinking/dining.”
“The location of the hotel is wonderfull, with a lake view room and restaurant. The dinner was amazing , they have a great chef there, Jens Münchenbach.
Parking available , very convenient .”
“We were there 4th times in the past 2 years and every time was very happy to stay. Staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast amazing with lots of choice. Restaurant staff don’t remember name the polish woman very friendly and helpful. Very good and fast connection with motorways. Very good hotel on our way to Croatia. Many thanks”
“I especially like the following 2 areas:
- It has its own basement car park which has a lift that reach directly to the floor we stay. Need to pay though.
- The breakfast is of great value at €14.50, the spread is similar to the other hotels that charge €20 or above. Besides the usual variety of bread, it even provides cheese cake 😘”
“This hotel is located in the town of Schwangau, just a short distance from the cable car and Neuschwanstein Castle, about a 30-minute walk away.
There’s a beer garden next door, and across the street, you’ll find a supermarket and a post office. Behind the hotel, there’s also a visitor center where travelers can get all kinds of information.
The front desk staff were incredibly friendly! They even lent me a pair of scissors so I could cut the tags off my newly purchased dirndl and wear it the next day.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay close to Neuschwanstein Castle while experiencing authentic Bavarian village life. This hotel is absolutely wonderful—I’ve already started planning my next trip to come back here!”
