    “No Breakfast, a dog was tied 24 hrs no food not even a house in the cold and rainy weather was shivering even the hens were were lock 24 hrs not even place to move in the lock that makes me sad and angry kitchen don't have any plate nor spoon no facilities for eating no one came for asking about food nor our stay 😢 they r all busy with their lives”

    “Norbert has a very competent team of young people who are doing a fantastic job. I got addicted to the traditional Creole dishes. Dinners involved a three course meal and twice a week, a BBQ was prepared on the patio, followed by a local troupe performing Sega Tambour! Breakfasts were special too, tasty crêpes with honey and coconut, fresh fruit, good coffee and toast with local papaya jam and fresh butter left a taste of pure authenticity in my mouth. The Villa offers great views on the ocean, with the Baladirou Beach just a short walk away. I used the local buses, which go to every out corner of the island. With an included return transfer from the airport and a dinner bed and breakfast package, my days were hassle free to explore the island. My room overlooked the garden where birdsong was my wake up alarm. All the bedroom facilities were kept in impeccable condition with daily room service. In harmony with nature, embedded in tradions, Villa Paradise lived up to its promise!”

    “The staff is really awesome. Stephane and his father are great people with a great focus on customer service. Stephane was very friendly and triggered a sense of belonging in us since day 1. Though we reached there late night, Stephane still managed to serve us dinner. Food was really awesome. We felt that hospitality all thoughout the stay. The prices are also really good, airport transfer was also included which was really awesome! AMAZINGLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Will be back for sure!!!”

    “We stayed in a spacious family apartment. Two adjacent large rooms with 3 double beds, private bathroom and a nice terrace. Very convenient for a family. Breakfast was simple (French style), yet tasty. Dinner served at the hotel was very convenient as there there are no other restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Overall a very pleasant stay. Rodrigues is a beautiful island and we enjoyed our time there. Staff at Le refuge were very helpful and friendly.”

    “Everything! A beautiful place in a perfect location, just a 10 minute walk to Port Mathurin. Waking up to the sound of roosters meant no need for an alarm, and during the day we enjoyed the lively Sega music drifting over from across the road. Having breakfast on the front porch was a highlight...breathing in the fresh tropical air while admiring a vibrant array of colourful tropical trees and lush plants. Most memorable of all was Juliana, the wonderful property host, who made us feel truly at home and part of the family. She even kindly let us use the unoccupied part of the property, giving us access to an extra dining room and kitchen, such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more comfortable.”

The meals & drinks ordered were devine & very reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place to other travelers!”
