The Sava meets the Krka (you can swim nearby in the Krka) before going to meet the Kopla/Kupa, the Sutla, Una, Bosna & Drina before it reaches the Danube at Belgrade. Brežice is a small but lovely town, Terme Paradiso is very cute, Terme Čatez is on a grand scale. There are castles and great food, Zagreb is down the road ... we loved the place, had our own breakfast in the kitchen and swam in the river, before going to the Krško speedway (AMD Krško is the friendliest sports club ive ever been to).”
