    “This is a budget hotel, not meant for a luxury experience. I appreciate their affordable prices considering the average price to stay in Thunder Bay is much higher. I was also very grateful that they put me on the upper floor despite having a dog with me. The ice machine was working well, which is not always a given in hotels. My bed was comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. When my air conditioner unit was not working on a hot day, the staff brought up a powerful fan that allowed my dog to sleep comfortably through the night. I appreciated the staff more than anything!”

    “The staff here was very welcoming to me and my dog. My room was clean and quiet. I appreciated having an off-leash dog park right across the street. They let me check out late and were very patient, while I packed up my things. It was quite hot when I was staying here and the air conditioner kept our room nice and cool.”

    “I absolutely loved my time at this hotel. I arrived super late, but the staff welcomed me and my dog like we were family. They put me on the upper floor in the back building, which is something I always ask for and rarely get. The room was enormous, tons of space, with a large bathroom that had plenty of hot water with good pressure. It was spotless clean, and had a charming fireplace in the corner. The fridge was almost a full-sized fridge with a proper freezer section which easily held and froze my ice packs. They also left an ice cube tray which was very helpful. The air conditioner was powerful and kept our room nice an cool. There is a large grassy courtyard around the hotel which is lovely for walking at night. We checked out quite late and were not charged extra. Rather, they were so kind that they helped me carry my things out to my car! They also have lovely campfire and a BBQ pit in the yard around the hotel. It was so quiet, I could not hear any traffic from the highway nearby. I would definitely stay here again!”
