    “It was perfect, a very attentive host, gave us tickets for the gardens & very helpful about the area. Made a fabulous breakfasts especially for our lactose intolerance. Free use of coffee machine, a shelf in the fridge, kitchen facilities if we wanted to use them, private area to sit around the pool. Everything was immaculate. Very reasonable price. Easy walk into the centre where there are lots of restaurant, bars & tapas places at very reasonable prices”

    “Excellent location just a short walk along the Douro to city centre / Dom Luis Bridge. Or if you prefer to walk somewhere other than Porto's steep streets, you can walk for a couple of hours along the river and up the coast on flat surface to Matasinhos (500 bus ride is also a cheap and great sight seeing option. Excellent rain shower and clean and comfortable room.”

    “Looks even nicer than photos. There is no shared bathroom so all rooms are ensuite. The rooms were perfect and garden. There were plenty of onstreet parking outside on a big road but not private.”
