  • Mresty Guest House Review score: 10

“The breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner at Mresty. The food was amazing, honestly. Better than eating at a restaurant. And reasonably priced. Marwan is an amazing guest. I recommend to everyone to stay here.”

  • “This was my second time at Damask Rose and owner Hicham and his Brazilian wife Ana received me yet again as a member of the family. Coming from Syria down to Beyrut it’s like coming to a different world, personally I needed a bit of social life, after a week in,Arabic only, speaking Syria and Damask Rose was great for that !! There is a walk from the hostel to the cave where you can do a tour and another wonderful walk 1 hour down to the coast ( it’s a 5 usd uber to get up again). The hostel itself is in several floors, there is a swimming pool downstairs and many places to chill during the heat of the day. The dorms themself are private, small cabins that you can close ( bring a lock). Many of the employees are Syrians, wonderful people too. It seems tourism is growing these days in Beirut with Hamas disarming and nearby Syria reopening for tourism without the daily fees.”

  • Casadar Guesthouse Review score: 9

“Place is amazing, a perfect escape to relax and enjoy peaceful vibes. Staff were incredibly pleasant and friendly, especially Mahmoud and Elio, Food was great, a bit pricey though. We stayed in room with indoor Jacuzzi which was very nice, Kids enjoyed the playground, but pool water was cold for them. Overall it was exceptional experience and highly recommended”

  • Casa del Porto Byblos Review score: 10

“I’m travelling quite lot and I’m a pretty spoiled guest, but Casa del Porto exceeded all my expectations! Extremely friendly and supportive hosts, easy to reach with their instructions location, very clean, comfortable and really authentic place and what a marvellous view from terrace! I could barely leave the property for a sightseeing walks, most of the time I’ve just enjoyed the place, sunbathed and worked in my laptop at the terrace (speed and quality of the WiFi were more than enough btw) and slept with a sea sound, that was really amazing! And certainly I need to mention their neighbours-Malena restaurant, delicious food with a stunning view! I will definitely recommend to stay to all my friends and will definitely stay again if I’ll have a chance!”
