  • “Valérie was out that weekend and left me the whole flat for myself. Her trust in me was very much appreciated. The location was great. Easy parking in front of property. Easy check in and out with keys in box with code. Flat was clean and pleasant. I recommend.”

“everything, the house, the style, the atmosphere”

  • Les Angelots Review score: 10

“Different. A chance to live in a place that has been around for hundreds of years. A short walk to the centre and the bassin. The Hotel de Commerce bar does about 8 different Armagnacs to sample. Do not fall in on the way home. Parking nearby and it is free.”

  • LE 41 AVENUE FOCH Review score: 10

“Lovely place to stay very close to the centre of town. Patrick was a very amenable host and very helpful”

  • château de Mauriac Review score: 9

“This magnificent old Castle is all about the experience. After you have to arrive at 17hrs you will have a short tour of the castle giving by the host. Your jaw dropping room awaits you. Antiques and art everywhere. Silence and panoramic views all around. In the morning a quality french breakfast is served in the vaulted dining room. If you love history and respect that, this place is the one for you.”

“The owner has thought of everything with regards to the accommodation, everything we needed was there and the property has a beautiful French charm to it. Very well thought through”

  • “The hosts, Patrick & Jonathan are the nicest people & were very helpful in assisting me with finding some motorcycle engine oil via their local contacts My room was superbly furnished & the bed was super comfy; bathroom was excellent & toiletries available Wifi free & strong signal Parking available & secured via locked gate Plenty of plug points to charge devices Coffee machine Dinner & breakfast - both excellent. The restaurant is small, but boutique style & works very nicely Alot of fruit & vegetables served are grown in their gardens which is a nice touch”

  • “I stayed solo in this guesthouse in Lourdes and overall had a good experience. The landlady is very kind and helpful, which really adds to the stay. The location is excellent — only about 7 minutes’ walk to the Grotto and Sanctuary, close to shops, restaurants, and around 10 minutes to the train station. Breakfast is simple but nice (baguette, butter, jams, a croissant, and Nespresso). The apartment also has a kitchen and small fridge if you want to prepare light meals, fresh linen sheets, and plenty of space in the bedroom for luggage. As a solo traveler, I also felt very safe here.”
