    “Fancy outside but old inside.”

  • On The Square Review score: 10

“I really enjoyed my stay at On the Square Hotel in Lviv. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the city center on Rynok Square, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions just by stepping outside. My room was clean, comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. They even got a robe and slippers in the economy room. Moreover, there is free water from a cooler and tea (with a clean kettle, I must say!). The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.”

“A very traditional and properly run high quality hotel. Excellent breakfasts. We had three meals in the hotel from a very well put together menu. Very good value and high quality ingredients put together by someone who knows what they are doing.”

  • Kryva Lypa Review score: 10

“The room was small but very comfortable, with a big window onto a charming cafe alley. There' a good fan in the room - handy for summer. The shower was shared with one other room and was large, clean with strong water flow. Staff at reception were all friendly and helpful, and the cleaners also. There is a cheap laundry service and an old school basement in case of air alerts. It's at most 10.minutes' walk to the main square.”

“Travelling to Ukraine these days is not something to be taken for granted. This makes Ukrainians all the more delighted to welcome visitors. Lviv is a beautiful, old city and as an Austrian I felt immediately at home. My stay was dramatic due to an air raid, but there is a shelter in the hotel. The staff were very helpful and even sent me some clothes that I had left behind in the wardrobe. I say thank you and will be back. Slava Ukraini!”
