“The house is in a very scenic place next to a small lake. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor space with a small playground and the dinghy to explore the lake. The log house is cozy and pleasant to stay in. A large wood burner and sauna are handy on colder evenings.”

“I really enjoyed my stay! The apartment is clean and cozy, located not far from the bus station, on one of the central streets in the old town. It has everything you need for rest and a comfortable stay, with a very pleasant atmosphere. Nearby there’s a café with delicious coffee and a good bar just across the street. The host is very kind and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends!”

“The only positive thing about the apartment is its location. At check-in we couldn’t get into the apartment: there was no message in the Booking profile with the code for the entrance and the key box. The host didn’t answer calls or messages, and we had to wait outside for two hours. Later it turned out that the code had been sent to my foreign phone number, which didn’t work in Latvia. The host could have noticed that the message wasn’t read and resent it through Booking, or at least been available during check-in hours. In the evening we discovered there was no hot water. The host herself wasn’t aware that the whole building had been without hot water for several days. The apartment had only one 3-liter pot, no basins, buckets, or dippers. We had to boil water in the kettle and pot and wash ourselves and three children that way.”

“The landscape is amazing, with a beautiful view on the lake full of swans, ducks and waterlelies. You can use the catamaran or rowing boat and the huge garden offers many areas to relax. The house itself is nicely designed and offers everything you need. We had a lot of fun with the old-fashioned LP player. The Russian bagna experience was absolutely unique and we felt completely relaxed. A big thank you to the wonderful owners!”
