    “Location was excellent. Room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Staff were very friendly. Lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. Excellent value for money”

    “Friendly reception, good value stay with open mountain views/countryside - no buildings in front of units to obstruct the view. Each unit has a deck & view. The unit was tastefully decorated & had a comfortable bed, a couch, coffee table and the large outdoor deck had a table & chairs. The swimming pool is large and in a garden setting with sun loungers. Everything we needed. We didn't have a meal at the restaurant but the menu looked good and it was reasonably priced. We left too early for the breakfast service. We enjoyed a drink at the bar outdoor area facing the pool which was a nice atmosphere with good service.”

    “The lady on reception was very helpful but unfortunately dinner was not available the day we stayed but the breakfast was exceptional. The host did organise dinner with a restaurant nearby. A lovely retreat on the hillside overlooking the valley. The swimming pool was a nice surprise.”

    “One of few hotels with single rooms. I was so happy about it. Worth the price. The bathroom could be cleaner. But I also had nice big bed and a balcony! The staff wasn’t always there and they spoke very little English, but that is on me, not speaking Spanish.”

    “It was basic but what we expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was large and clean. We had a balcony to the street and it wasn’t too noisy even with the door open. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was typical Spanish with bread, cheese, cold meats, fruit, cereal and coffee. Different types of milk were available including oat and soya. We had lunch included which was at the spa hotel and it was okay. We also had a fantastic hour at the spa included, which made the stay exceptionally good value for money. We would definitely come back for a similar offer. Lanjarón itself is really nice with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and shops selling various crafts. Typical Spanish town with lots of ambience. Would recommend a visit.”

    “Great location, decent sized room and we loved the poolside bar. Breakfast was also delicious. Little car park was useful although a bit hairy to negotiate!”
