  • Lisle Combe Review score: 10

“Ruth and Robert were fabulous hosts who went above and beyond to make our visit the best it could be. Lisle Combe is a beautiful old country house with tons of Alfred Noyes memorabilia. It was incredible reading a book of Alfred Noyes poems while sitting in his drawing room. The garden was beautiful and led to a sheltered private beach. We picked our breakfast from a varied menu. The food was well prepared and delicious, and served in a beautiful large dining room. Our room, the Boudoir, looked out onto the garden, and was spacious and had a large 3 piece ensuite. It was so quiet at Lisle Combe. We could hear the waves at night.”

“Gorgeous garden with fairy lights at night. Entertaining wildlife to watch - saw a red squirrel in the garden and had a very tame robin join us for breakfast each day. Lovely breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Can walk into Cowes town centre. Highly recommend.”
