  • Appley Lodge Review score: 10

“An outstanding bed and breakfast that you would find extremely hard to beat! So clean, well presented, great facilities including tea, coffee and water in your room, and an outstanding breakfast! The Appley Lodge is only 10 mins walk from the Espalande, restaurants, coffee shops, Shanklin Old Town shops and much more. Gareth and Wendy absolutely look after you, with so many nice touches and help if required at all times. They really do make a difference and it does make a real difference with two such warm friendly and hosts. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL - you will not find a better bed and breakfast in the Isle of Wight.”

  • The Cliff Hall Review score: 10

“The owners are so friendly and helpful. The building is in a great location with beautiful views. The rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast is delicious!”

  • “I loved its quiet location, the history of it being an old railway station was fascinating. Being on business the WiFi was to die for, I don’t even get that speed at home or in the office. Amanda’s attention to detail is something else.”

  • Number 29 - Only Adults Review score: 10

“We stayed at Number 29 for three nights in August. The accommodation was immaculately clean, a short walk from the train and beach. Our room was spacious and perfect temperature, with such a comfortable bed. We were greeted with delicious slices of homemade lemon drizzle upon in our room upon arrival. There were plenty of plenty of breakfast options, which was also delicious and also included homemade bread and banana bread. This was made by the host, Chris, who is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we had the most perfect stay.”
