    “The best hotel I've stayed in for my two weeks in Taiwan. The room was large, and the space was modern chic and smartly designed. The toilet has ample table top storage, and the toilet bowl was Japanese style. The owner was extremely helpful in recommending places to visit in and around Hualien. The hotel is as close as you can get to the Hualien train station, noting that there aren't many buildings in the immediate vicinity of the station.”

    “This was a comfortable home stay type property with a balcony. The beds were comfy and linen good quality. The owner had thoughtfully left us a delicious fruit platter. In advance of our stay we received many messages giving restaurant suggestions etc. It was amazing value for money. There was a kitchen available and fridge if you wanted to make light meals.”

    “Quite close to the night market, 15 minutes walk. The guesthouse owers are both nice, and they offer teas and instant noodles, which are very helpful when you are still hungry after eating snacks at the night market.”

    “The staff were really helpful, we had no local language and they had no hesitation in helping by translating. I gave a 9 for location as it was good for the night market next door but it is away from the main shopping and restaurant area. Clean bright room overlooking the sea. The nightmarket is great, with so many different food outlets and a really nice vibe and live music.”
