“We chose this hotel because it was near Guatemala city airport - and indeed it was - just 8 minutes walk from the airport. We did feel a bit uneasy walking in the dark streets at night, so you might want to take a taxi, but it was fine and nothing happened. I expected there to be many hotels in the area, but it was mainly residential and businesses which were closed at night. The twin room was fine , although I could see other rooms in the hotel were larger. Reception was helpful and friendly. She didn't speak much English, but frankly that is my fault for not making more effort to learn Spanish. The included breakfast was nice - standard Guatemalan fare of Black bean sauce, scrambled eggs, fruit and pancakes - like most breakfasts I had in the this. I have a big appetite so not enough to feed me, but you can buy extra There's also a walled Garden out back - I doubt people often visit it, but we had some time to kill waiting to be picked up so I liked walking round that. this was the start of a fantastic 10 day holiday in Guatemala.”
