    “We stayed there for a few days and everything was exceptional. The natural surroundings, the farm, the accommodation, the food, the staff, and the fact that everything was built around sustainability truly impressed us. I don’t know when I will return to Iceland, but I can say with all my heart that I would love to come back here. We warmly recommend it to all travelers.”

    “Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Our wooden chalet was small and cozy, well equipped and had a fridge and 2 armchairs. However what made our stay really good was the dining room. The 4 course evening meal was superb, with local produce and home cooking. The food and drink were very good value for Iceland, the best value meal we have had all week. The breakfast was also really excellent. The family running the place made us very welcome. Would highly recommend this for a relaxed stay.”

    “It is important to note that, in general, the level of service in Iceland is very low and costs are very high. Therefore, it makes no sense to give very high ratings. A high rating is given if the hotel/apartment is fantastic and equipped with all amenities or if the value for money is exceptional. Neither of these two cases applies in Iceland. The feeling that all tourists have is that they are victims of a system where everyone tries to earn as much as possible in the few months when there is high demand. The entire hospitality policy is therefore flawed. Let's move on to the accommodation: Posizione molto bella, anche se molto fuori dal paese. Camere piccole ma molto pulite”
