“Isla Saboga is a small paradise. Location was perfect, steps away from beautiful Playa El Encanto, which was practically a private beach with crystal clear water. We stayed at the first floor of Casa Malka and it was all ours with it’s private entry, balcony/veranda and it’s private pool. The host Patrice organised our transfer from Contadora and was extremely courteous, kind and welcoming, going as far as waiting for us at the pier of Saboga to welcome us personally into the property. He also helped us with local tips and boat tours around the archipelago. Jonathan was the groundkeeper and was also great.
The bed was bug and comfortable. The house has AC which worked great, filtered water and the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and you will be cooking as there is only one restaurant in the island and luckily is right next to where you’ll be staying. We bought groceries and food from Panama city and brought it with us on the plane to Contadora. Everybody does this as there are no supermarkets on the island. You can also bring your groceries on the ferry. It was all worth it, this was the final stop in our honeymoon and it was absolutely great! We totally recommend this place.”
