Great location in downtown Saint-Denis wie sights and restaurants within walking distance. Le Juliette Dodu has the flair of a beautiful, colorful colonial mansion with a swimming pool to cool down from the heat. Very fast internet. The rate was very good given all the comfort

Some renovation needed on the bathrooms. Additional bed we asked for wasn’t made upon arrival A bit noisy at night, and hard to find a parking during the day. free parking next to hotel only from 4pm to 8am.

Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice! Room was good and clean. 7min walk to main shopping street. Close to Barachois

The single person room to be honest is pretty much all bed and bathroom. Worse, there is a leather strap backed chair against a small desk but it’s a complete back breaker and should have gone a long time ago. The loo seat slips sideways and needs fixing.

Beautifully decorated to convey the traditional architecture, and the staff were very friendly.

The double room was too small. The only chair in the room was too bulky and the leather cube superfluous. The pinch pleat curtains couldn't open properly as they hung over the French doors. I suggest eyelet curtains that can easily be pulled across. There was no fridge or kettle (we borrowed one). One of the only French doors providing airflow didn't open & the safe didn't work (we mentioned it to Reception ... they would send someone up later that day but we didn't worry in the end). The two hooks in the bathroom were more decorative than functional. There were not enough hooks to hang clothing. The sink, despite being nicely shaped, was far too wide for the bathroom. There was no shelving in the bathroom to place toiletries. We placed ours on the tiled ledge that covered the pipes. Too expensive but relative considering the cost of living in la Réunion.

Close to the city centre, friendly staff, lovely authentic décor and architecture, hearty breakfast. A la carte menu serving Réunionnais dishes. The bed was comfortable.

I didn’t get to use the underground parking because I was full, so that was a shame to have to find a free spot on the street.

Such a beautiful and unique little gem of a hotel! The breakfast was excellent and provided so many healthy and delicious options (not just parties!). The pool is lovely and the bed was quite comfy.

The bed was not comfortable and we could not air the room. It smelled of cleaning products when we came, which is a good sign, but we would have liked to air the room though.

Lovely building with charm, and lovely helpful staff. Nice to have a swimming pool in a town center hotel, and that's why we chose this hotel. Close to all the shops and restaurants.

The airconditioning simply does not work due to an old system which desperately need to be changed. Despite changing room I had the same issue. This was problematic because it was very hot and humid and I could not get a proper sleep, which is the most important thing you expect from a hotel.
