CanadaOnly a small observation is that the hallways have different coloured spot lighting (purple green blue etc) which initially felt “cheap” or retro - like we were in a small town 1980s disco/motel. But it was just a stylistic choice/first impression that didn’t impact our stay and did not impact on the room or larger hotel grounds which were lovely.
Quiet location outside of downtown, comfortable room, accommodating and helpful staff at check in, ample parking. Had a very comfortable stay and a good sleep! Also really liked the filtered water station and glass refillable bottle instead of disposable plastic bottles of water - appreciated the eco-focus! It’s a long walk to the centre of town but a pleasant one (45-50 minutes) and we walked both ways for the exercise as we were beginning a long 37 hour journey home - but the hotel does provide a shuttle if you prefer that.

FranceThe bathroom door's hinges were so noisy and one couldn't get to the bathroom during the night without moving the door - so my partner woke up; and vice versa. Location is up up up the hill, so you won't help saving the planet staying at this hotel. Hotel mainly for french people as not much is written in international English.
The staff, the layout of the hotel, the bed and they accept dogs :) Staff nice with pets. The view of Saint Denis was awesome! Nice with the balcony!

United Arab EmiratesLeadership issue (hotel and Mercure as a whole) 1- The staff does not communicate between themselves from a shift to another. For example, you rent a car at the Front Desk in the evening for the following morning but the morning staff cannot find your reservation (after you triple insisting to them to make sure it won't be lost). 2- I brought a plate and a glass of wine to my room. The day after, the cleaning staff left it outside my door but nobody picked it until I left !!!! Never seen that before 3- The hotel is full of flaws. The most liable is the shower floor which is the most slippery I have ever encountered in my life. One day the hotel will have a 2 million$ lawsuit. 4- Also, at 19h30, the dinner is a bit late.
The hotel's location has a nice view but it is far from everything. The room are comfortable but badly design.

MauritiusAlthough the island is known to be hit by cyclones, the Hotel did not have reserve water tanks as back up to service water cut due. We were given bottles of water for our wash and asked to use bucket to reciver water from swimming pool for toilet. Limited disches available for lunch and dinner during same cyclonic time.

Belgiumthere were hair in the bathroom , stains on the wall no mattress cover. we ordered two hot dishes from room service and had ordered one omelet with cheese and specified NO ham. the omelet arrived with ham in it so one plate was getting cold as we were waiting for the omelet to be redone.

MauritiusI am a mauritian they do not treat people like other client for example French and other white skin. They look at you in a different way as if I came form another planet especially the management level and reception even restaurant. Order sandwich for my son 8 years the staff said me will not be able to do it. If am from europe definitely the same has already been provided to guest. Room were fill of rain water ask for cleanliness several times but nothing done. i have to beg again and shout at them at night 21pm then it has been done . Photos will be posted on Trip Advisor shortly . I even received a burn potato chips to eat. I even kill mosquito in room see photo
