How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The kitchen only includes a couple of hot plates for cooking. The building is a mishmash of indoor and outdoor space so it can be a bit cold in the winter.
The beds are large, private, and comfortable. The common area, though somewhat outdoors, is quite nice and includes options.

I didn't like how there was only one toilet in the only women's bathroom. Also, the bathroom door didn't close.
The bed was very comfortable.

Not many backpackers, mostly people staying there for long time.
Probably the most comfy best I've ever had the chance to get in a hostel. They offer the towel and soap. The whole place is brand new, except I'd say the kitchen.

This was my second stay and I had a very good one. Spacious, quiet room, great wifi and showers plus use of full kitchen etc. was great! The staff were very nice boys who worked hard in order to keep the place clean and lively!

Shower room.
Very good and comfortable hostel. I especially like the huge beds, the air con, the friendly staff and solid WiFi. Good location, close to supermarket.

The were no prior showers and no daily activities. It seems like a nice place to stay but not much to do in Asuncion.
Very nice hostal in the middle of Asuncion. The staff was magnificent and provided me with recommendations and assistance wi the laundry.

This hostel is a miracle, you won't expect such a huge place behind it's doors. They have a great collaboration room. WiFi available. And the best: the bunk-beds are 140cm wide!!! The kitchen offers separate storage space for every guest. If soneone wants to immigrate to Paraguay or wants at least a permanent residential, the owner is there to help. Just fantastic!!!

Great hostel and excellent staff. Very kind and friendly people working there. The A/C and wifi worked perfectly, great kitchen for cooking, showers and bathrooms for everyone. The vibe was chilled and good. I will definitely return! Close to stores, restaurants etc.

Love the beds, large with light and plugs, surrounded by curtains. Comfy mattress. Great sleep. Amazing communal spaces and roof patio. Great kitchen area. Shower was hot and bathrooms clean. Wonderful staff, friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Lots of people were staying long term and were working remotely. So it was not so easy to find people to do tourist things with. The kitchen is too simple. Simple hot plate. Not enough mugs. Could easily be improved. Rooms got hot, even in May.
Location is great for exploring the old center, but it's very quiet at night as the lively center is in the new part of town. Lots of abandoned buildings here, which is a bit creepy. Supermarket nearby. The beds are huge! Curtains for privacy and a locker. The shower is good. Drinking water available in the kitchen!

The kitchen could have been better, but it was still nice to have a place to prepare your meals

Nothing really. It's a great place.
I have stayed for month in this hostel and gladly would stay more if It wasn't the time for me to continue my travels. The female dorm is quiet and clean with enormous double size bed. Even when it was +40 in Asuncion inside our room it was always cool. My favorite place here was the rooftop. I loved to do yoga there or simply watch stars. It was also fun to have barbeque parties there. The staff is very friendly and welcoming they made this place truly feel like home far from home. Already miss you guys! Good luck with everything!

Mattrace can be better. Too soft or degraded after while of using. So not perfect but stil acceptable.

The common area could use fans as it is very hot.
The owner and staff are great. The rooms are nice and have large comfy beds. There is a good kitchen and lounge area. The rooftop terrace is cool. Has air conditioning. Location is very good and central. They also have filtered water.
