Perfect location Close to beach and a ton of great restaurants, all staff were extremely hospitable, a special guest thanks to Andrea but really all were great, hotel has all amenities for the beach such as towels, a cooler, chairs etc. and his is the perfect place to stay for comfort and adventure.

The location was very convenient to the beach as well to multiple dining options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was larger than normal hotel rooms.

I had a wonderful experience at Tropica Beach Hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local tips. The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Overall, a great place to stay – I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

If there’s a way to put a cover on the bathroom window. Whenever I left the bathroom door open, the light was very bright.

I loved the location and the property. Jessica, Pedro, and Veronika were soo helpful and patient with me. I truly enjoyed my stay. My room windows had a lot of natural light.

The pool is very small and hardly counts as a pool, but it is so close to the beach that we did not mind at all.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! Room was perfect and clean, very comfortable. We were so close to the main street and the beach and walked everywhere. It felt very safe.

We had nothing to complain about at all.

After nearly 24 hours traveling from the UK via the New York we arrived in San Juan in the early morning hours, tired and anxious at the prospect of 1am hotel check-in we needn’t have worried, the process was quick and easy, soon in our bed, the Trópica Beach was just what was required for our short stay before moving on with our adventure in Puerto Rico. A short distant from the airport, not a huge bemouth of hotel, but a really nice boutique feel, in nice area, and right next to a fantastic beach, which was absolutely great for blowing away the travel blues and finding somewhere to top up our tanks. Would certainly recommend the Tropica Beach as your stop-over in San Juan, helped us refresh and relax immensely, a short distance from the airport, or into the old town, and lastly a big shout out to the friendly, helpful staff, Jessica on reception, who was a wealth of information to us, and Jose at the Bar, who was also superb.

Noise outside. All night there were motorcycles with loud music going up and down the street.

Only spent 5 hours there, but the room was wonderful, clean, beds were comfortable. Bonus was the restaurant attached; food was excellent.

Could have used a bit more drawer space, a safe that locked, and a kettle for hot water (I love a cup of tea at night).

Fantastic location, extremely clean, comfortable and lovely for relaxing between activities. Good common areas. The restaurant was amazing. And the staff for both the hotel and the restaurant (not connected to the hotel but onsite) were wonderful. Especially Jessica (front desk) and Paola (restaurant).
