Things to know, not necessarily bad, just that help to know in advance: - In order to gain access, you have to go to the jewelry store next to the big N (Navona) sign. Once we figured that out, it was easy to get into our room. - We stayed during a time that San Juan had no running water. They do have a cistern which thankfully meant we could at least flush the toilet. - Yes, loud music plays right outside the rooms. It was off by 10pm when we stayed and as it was a rainy night, the street noise was pretty quiet as well. - Yes, the AC is set without your being able to change it. Depending on your comfort level, it wasn't that much of an issue. - Yes, there's no elevator, but the stairway is large enough to easily carry bags up.

Great location. Super clean with a nice sized fridge. I would absolutely stay again.

Zero insulation (you could even hear people talking on the street and music from passing cars), air conditioning was always on without the ability to turn it off (it was freezing all night long, we had to wear our jackets to sleep), bed is for 1.5 people not really good fit for 2 people.

The staff changed their mind every time. For example, in the message they said check out was at 10:30 am and then they said another message saying check out it was at 10:00am. It’s too early the checkout.

Rooms and bathrooms are incredibly small so more than one night would have been a struggle. Lack of plug sockets to be able to charge items.

Location is really good and the check in process very simple. The communal areas and the rooms were very clean and functional. Reasonably priced compared to other properties i looked at in the area.

Beds were a bit firm for my liking. Hiking to the 3rd floor with alot of luggage is a chore - but it's OK. the place was just so nice.

The facilities were very clean and well presented. The rooms were well appointed and as described. Common areas are really nice and wish I had more time to spend there. The location is central to everything and easy to get to. Parking is a challenge, but thats Old San Juan. will definitely come back.

The shower didn't work properly The water was too hot and we could not take showers confortably. In addition, the TV program offer did not work. We could not use the TV.

The room was great. Loved the way it was decorated. The hosts were very kind and nice! I recommend this place!

Pretty old, not the cleanest, windows dont insulate sound, lots of mosquitos. For the price you expect abit more. Not easy to find a socket to charge electronics in the room. Balcony is minuscule.

Central location, close to everything. Rooftop terrace! Staff were nice if you do see them.

not much soundproofing (if any) between hallways and rooms. if people were in the lobby having a conversation or playing music you could hear all of it.

Mostly great, location and value. Noise was a negative and shower was mostly cold. Even with some negatives we would probably stay again because of value.

The communication was OK but were not flexible about requests like having close by rooms. The location on where to leave the bags while still in the city but after check out was next door but did not seem very secure. Nothing happened with my luggage though.

The location is excellent. The rooms are good but most of them with no window. Rooms near the street or entrance to the floor door were noisy. There is no elevator and stairs are very steep. The information about not having elevator was not included in the description. Also, I suggest that some pictures of the rooms with no windows to be included also in the description.

The very noisy road. Garbage trucks very early and multiple times to the same spot. So wouldn’t recommend if you like to sleep in. This wouldn’t have been an issue if more things opened earlier than 10am. There didn’t seem to be any sort of temperature adjustment in the rooms. You had a continuous A/C that would make a tapping noise when on and a ceiling fan you could turn on or off. The soap was limited to a shampoo/conditioner mix in a very small bottle. One facial bar for the sink, no body wash. Wish the room had a microwave.

I liked the ease of checking in and out. The location is great for walking everywhere you would want to in the area. Cute little lounge area. Room had a good sized mini fridge.

Was a little hard carrying luggage up stairs.

Even though inside room it 100% met our needs as we had flown all day and needed a good nights sleep. No street noise. Was near every thing you needed or wanted to see in Old San Juan.

As there is no lift, it was difficult to lift large cases up & down the stairs. Although there is a large fridge in the room, it would be good to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room. After traveling long haul & arriving late, a hot drink would have been welcome. If not in each room, then something could be provided in the communal lounge area.

The location was brilliant for exploring Old San Juan. There are plenty of cafe, bars & restaurants nearby by. The room was basic but comfortable. The roof terrace was lovely & so quiet as it’s on a busy street.
