Just make sure you bring an extra blanket if you like to stay warm. They do provide a sheet but I needed more.

I loved that it was walking distance to restaurants and close to old San Juan. You can walk to that area.

There were multiple times during my stay where many toilets were out of toilet paper, but overall the toilets were kept clean enough. The showers weren’t that clean, especially the curtains, but also some guests don’t clean up after themselves. But for a budget hostel, this was tolerable. They also don’t let you change the temperature of the AC, so at night you will get cold with just the flat sheet. They charge $10 per night for a warmer blanket, so I would recommend bringing a blanket. Our AC in Room 1 also made an abnormal buzzing noise every 1-2 mins, so that could be a distraction for light sleepers.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! They were so happy to help with all questions. The laundry facility is located outside the property, but only a short walk and it’s very cheap at $4 USD for a load. The bed is large, so it’s very spacious and quite comfortable. The privacy curtains were really appreciated and they provide padlocks for the lockers. The bus stop is also very close by, making the location extremely convenient.

The water pressure in the showers was terrible but at least I could take a shower.

Having security and codes to get in as well as making it all female made me feel very safe as a solo traveler. The location was also great and it was super easy to walk everywhere as well as take an uber to and from the airport.

A few more hooks in the room would have been helpful for hanging towels.

Only negative part was the bed, I genuinely didn’t find it comfortable at all and also the air conditioning was too low and the room were freezing cold and to get a blanket you had to pay extra

At night it was freezing because of the AC, even after buying the extra blanket. I asked if we could raise the temperature but I was told the temperature couldn’t be changed but they lowered the fan

The staff was the nicest! They were really kind and explained everything really well and helped me have a better stay. Beds are really large, they have multiple plugs, a small shelf and a bed light, and curtains to keep your privacy. It has cubicle bathrooms and showers.

There's just the reception as an area to sit down, a place outside to gather together would be nicer, guests there don't really look to socialise - more older age group of women that are looking for a cheap stay.

75F a/c felt like 65, it was freezing! My home is kept at 75F a/c and it’s much more comfortable, not feeling like sleeping in a freezer. Bring sweats and a hoodie for bedtime. First hostel I’ve been at that does NOT provide a towel (can pay $10 for towel and blanket combo), so I had to dry off with paper towels 🧻 No shower soap provided, either. The night receptionist was a kill-joy and not all women are trust worthy and one girl was ruffling around in my moms belongings on her bed with the curtain closed so put EVERYTHING in your locked locker!

The lobby was the best hostel lobby I’ve been in and I use to work in hostels in many countries. It was very comfortable and had a fridge, microwave, and cold/boiling water and tea station. Love that it is women ONLY.

It is a hostel, so bring a few essentials, it stays 75, degrees bring a blanket..

The Juliette is so central .. tidy, great staff 24/7,, busy and fun with a great international flair.. so safe!! Women's hostel concept is fantastic and much needed!! Love this little place! ❤️
