Location and clean , employees so nice

A little traffic to get there

The staff were incredible and accommodating. Our room wasn't ready by 3 so they gave us an upgrade. That room unfortunately had a fan issue and they upgraded us again to a more comfortable space. They worked quickly to assist us and were very gracious. Location was awesome.

The staff was amazing! Very courteous and did everything to ensure our stay was pleasant.

We stayed in two rooms during our visit and encountered noise issues in both. The terrace queen room we were assigned was directly below the rooftop bar, and we could hear bar stools dragging late into the night. In the interior first floor room, early morning foot traffic and conversations echoed loudly due to the open courtyard near the lobby and elevator. While the hotel posts quiet hours (11pm-8am) signs, the noise was still disruptive. Some additional soundproofing or enforcement could improve the experience.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I stayed at Decanter Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience due to excessive noise from the neighboring room. Around 2:00 AM, I was abruptly awakened by extremely loud TV noise. I immediately contacted the front desk, and while the staff did their best to knock and reach out to the neighbor, it took nearly an hour before the guest finally responded and turned off the TV. During that time, I was unable to sleep at all. This seriously affected my rest and my plans for the following day. While I truly appreciate the staff’s effort, I still did not receive the restful experience I paid for. I reached out via Booking.com to request at least a partial refund due to this issue, but the hotel has not responded to my complaint. I’m very disappointed by the lack of follow-up. I hope the hotel takes this kind of feedback seriously to improve guest experience in the future.

Where to start,…. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to anything in OSJ. The room was lovely, very clean, and we chose the room with a connected patio. That was wonderful in the evening to just sit for a bit before retiring. The staff are AMAZING. They answered all our questions, offered suggestions and did it with the utmost of kindness. Really enjoyed our stay.

This is not an issue with the property, just a suggestion; you dont need a car in OSJ. Having one, as we did, was troublesome to park. If you plan on staying in OSJ and then driving around, either rent it when you leave or plan to park outside OSJ and taxi to and from it. OSJ is small and parking is for those who live or work there. Lots do exist but they fill up fast.

Perfect location to walk through El Viejo San Juan, bars and tourist spots there... Also the guy from the front desk of the second shift, very friendly, he always helped us.

Staff was very nice

Room very loud, can hear tourists on the street all night long. Only 2 pillows on the bed so I couldn’t cover my head with a pillow. No electrical outlets by the bed. Not worth the price.

In the city, close distance to the activites, bars, restaurants, museums. Stuff very friendly.

Should be, more decoration to make a rooms more cozy.
