The only reason why I wouldn’t return is because of Juan M. and Ivelisse M. that work the front desk. JUST RUDE AND UNHELPFUL! When we checked, and Ricardo said he would allow me and my husband to check out one hour later because we are checking out on my birthday so the morning of our check out we went to the beach and when we came in side Ivelisse sprinted behind the office door as if she was Nervous around us one didn’t even speak & Juan just through the return key basket on the counter. I fixed a cup of complementary coffee and inquired about our late check-in. Juan said No, I have 16 rooms that need to be cleaned before 4 o’clock. Remind you it was 9 AM even if all 16 guest left at the same time there’s no way the employees will be able to clean the rooms at one time and to be told Yes you can stay for one hour extra because our flight was leaving a little later and then on the day of not honor that PLYS their demeanor was rude and cold unhelpful, and then when we were leaving and other guest, they sat behind the closed door, allowing guests to struggle going in and out of the front door with luggage down to the gate to wait for Ubers those two were so coldhearted that it just made the stay undesirable to return.

Let me just say, the location was very assessable but hidden off the busy path. There’s specific employees that makes this place great. Ricardo at the front desk was awesome and helpful. To the guys that keep the grounds & pool super clean thanks for chatting with me and my husband in the early mornings. It’s Close to the beach and small grocery stores, short walk to awesome coffee shops. Met some nice hotel guest while there also. Felt safe on the grounds and didn’t hear any noise.

I loved the property, the bad thing is the parking. they have no parking lot nor anywhere u can park. if ur going local catch a uber leave rental parked up. everything is close by the beach up the street

We had a difficult time with the wifi and TV during our stay. While it didn’t disrupt our good time, it would have been nice to watch TV at the end of the day.

This is a great location, close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. The hotel and its sister hotel both have cute little pools. The room was comfortable.

We were there for 4 nights and no one emptied trash or changed towels (only 3 towels provided ). Very poor water pressure in shower so couldn’t wash hair. We were in a room next to the lobby so it was very loud early in the morning.

Nice stylish boutique hotel with unique character. Clean pool and huge hot tub available at sisters hotel. Comfortable bed. Only one block away from a nice beach but need caution if swimming there.

The room wifi was almost inexistent. The bed mattress was vey lumpy and outdated. Bit noisy, could hear guests who return late talk and chat in the hallway. Very old and run down furniture. There was no small fridge in room or in common area to keep our drinks. There was a broken small fridge left in the room which had probably stopped working years ago. Bathrooms are very very tiny.

It is very conveniently located close to the beach and also close to a whole lot of eateries. The hotel is clean, staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us fresh beach towels and bath towels daily.

No private parking - finding parking on street tricky. No grab bar in shower - risky. No handrail on first set of stairs into the property - also risky.

Check-in staff very helpful and carried luggage upstairs for us, also suggested possible street parking places. Beach/pool towels available. Small pool, but pleasant. Very close to beach.

It was close to the beach and many restaurants. The Pool was great. The front desk staff were super helpful. No extra charges for anything. Great restaurant Niche at Sister hotel feet away was amazing.

The room they put me in had a toilet that made so much noise, it scared me at times. I didn’t notice it the first night , but the second and the third night I definitely noticed.

The room is not very spacious but has everything that is needed, except the WiFi signal is very low, to the point that sometimes one has to stay in the inner yard to get it. Possibly not the most accessible place for people with disabilities, as it has many steps and stairs.

The nicest little inn in a very tourist area, with the beach just across the street and many bars and restaurants nearby. There is an inner yard with flowers and a small pool. The owner is super friendly and helpful, had such a great stay!

A refrigerator would of been nice, (I did hear from other guests that some rooms do have refrigerators) there was definitely room for it and a safe box would be nice.

The Wind Chimes Hotel is a great location, 2-minute walk to the beach and definitely walkable to many restaurants, cafes and bars. Pool area is small only 4 chairs (there was a bigger terrace area with more chairs) however we were able to use their sister property Acacia hotel pool also which was bigger and heated, this was located on your short walk to the beach. We had hot water and good pressure. It is a cool older boutique hotel. I would stay again.

The rooms photos are better at least to room that we have stayed, which was quiet small and the windows don't isolate the sound so you can listen everything going on the street. The door isolation is poor, therefore cleaning the other rooms at 8am with vacuum cleaner is probably not a good idea or to talk loud in the reception and our room is on the first floor and we can still hear it.

The location is central, near beach, restaurants and shops, so it is a good place to be based. The pool is quite pleasant, however the mosquitos like the pool as well, so advisable to take repellent. The possibility to stay after the check-out specially when you a late night flight was good and staff are friendly... almost all!

The authentic look and large outdoor space. Rooms were large and had a local charm. Staff were very nice. Ambiance lighting of room was nice for romantic settings.

The beds were not the most comfy. We did get an upgrade to a king though, which was awesome! A small concern we had was safety. The doors did not have any additional locking mechanism - just the handle style lock. Simply installing a bolt or chain would have helped us to sleep a little easier at night. As some other reviews stated, the rooms were a little dated. And through no fault of the hotel, we did lose power and the generator was right outside of our window, making for a very loud 6am wake-up call. Again, not the hotels fault but felt like it was worth a mention. Lastly, the water pressure for cold water only, oddly, was very poor.

The location was great, close to a lot of shops and restaurants and right on the best part of the beach! The pool was small but very cute, and we met a lot of very cool people during our stay. None of these things made for a bad stay and overall, the charm of the hotel, friendliness and accommodating nature of the staff made for a lovely visit. We would book again!
