The location was great and the staff was kind. The facilities were also charming.

Unfortunately it appeared the bed was not cleaned when we arrived. We had every reason and indication suggesting sheets were not replaced between guests. This made it impossible to want to sleep in the bed but it was very late when we got into bed and discovered this and we were extremely tired. There were also dirty towels left inside the closet on the floor that did not belong to us.

Let me just say, the location was very assessable but hidden off the busy path. There’s specific employees that makes this place great. Ricardo at the front desk was awesome and helpful. To the guys that keep the grounds & pool super clean thanks for chatting with me and my husband in the early mornings. It’s Close to the beach and small grocery stores, short walk to awesome coffee shops. Met some nice hotel guest while there also. Felt safe on the grounds and didn’t hear any noise.

The only reason why I wouldn’t return is because of Juan M. and Ivelisse M. that work the front desk. JUST RUDE AND UNHELPFUL! When we checked, and Ricardo said he would allow me and my husband to check out one hour later because we are checking out on my birthday so the morning of our check out we went to the beach and when we came in side Ivelisse sprinted behind the office door as if she was Nervous around us one didn’t even speak & Juan just through the return key basket on the counter. I fixed a cup of complementary coffee and inquired about our late check-in. Juan said No, I have 16 rooms that need to be cleaned before 4 o’clock. Remind you it was 9 AM even if all 16 guest left at the same time there’s no way the employees will be able to clean the rooms at one time and to be told Yes you can stay for one hour extra because our flight was leaving a little later and then on the day of not honor that PLYS their demeanor was rude and cold unhelpful, and then when we were leaving and other guest, they sat behind the closed door, allowing guests to struggle going in and out of the front door with luggage down to the gate to wait for Ubers those two were so coldhearted that it just made the stay undesirable to return.

The location is perfect!!everyone is so friendly except one lady… I don’t know why she has some attitude when I ask her questions…maybe because she was busy on her phone at that time😊

The community spaces were beautiful and comfortable, and it was a really nice location in Condado/Santurce.

Experiences may differ depending on what room you get, but mine was on the first floor. There was mold in the room; the room was not cleaned thoroughly before I checked in (there was trash from the previous guest in the toilet which we could not flush in fear of clogging the toilet, causing us to not have a functioning private toilet for the whole first night), a used towel was hanging from the shower curtain rod, and red hair was on the shower wall (neither me nor my partner has red hair); the de-humidifier put in place to combat mold growth was malfunctioning and sounded like a jackhammer every hour or so during our first night here, causing us to not be able to sleep at all. We've expressed all the above concerns with the hotel staff, and they promised a "deep clean" and a solution to the dehumidifier the next day. When I got back to my room the next day in the evening, expecting a deep clean and a functioning dehumidifier, what was promised was not delivered, the mold wasn't even wiped down. The "solution" to the loud dehumidifier was simply removing it from our room, with no replacement, which would just exacerbate the mold issue already present. We did request a different room hoping it would be better, but there were no other rooms available. We eventually decided to leave and booked our stay at a different hotel. When asked about a refund due to services not matching expectations (a clean room with no mold is the bare minimum for a hotel), the person working the desk said we'd have to contact booking.com to contact their corporate reservation department (of a "family-run" hotel). Upon some research, the company that owns this hotel filed for bankruptcy in 2018, likely and sadly because of Hurricane Maria in 2017. Although still owned by legal entities created by the owner, is now managed by a Property Management company called Auberge Haven.

This is a great location, close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. The hotel and its sister hotel both have cute little pools. The room was comfortable.

We had a difficult time with the wifi and TV during our stay. While it didn’t disrupt our good time, it would have been nice to watch TV at the end of the day.

Close to the beach and restaurants.

Not as described. No iron, safe or hair dryer in room. No dressers in room forcing us to live out of our suitcases. We had to ask for hand towels, and toiletries. Outdoor area run down, decking uneven and bar area closed.

"The location is perfect—everything you need is right at your doorstep, from the beach to restaurants, bars, and stores. The hotel has a charming, private, and antique feel. The pool is lovely and relaxing, and the staff is both friendly and helpful!"

The Wi-Fi connection had issues throughout the stay.

    Location was good.

The room on the first floor was too small for two people with luggage. All the furniture was inches apart and crawling on the bed to get to the other side of anything was common.

    Property response:

Dear Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Although you reserved a Full size bed room, our smallest, although we did give you a free upgrade to a Queen size bed room, which is larger but can still be a little too small for guests going on cruises with a weeks worth of luggage. We do have multiple larger size rooms available. When reserving, please keep this in mind. It was our pleasure serving you and we are certain you enjoyed our location just seconds away from the beach, restaurants ect., along with our pool, oursister proprety Acacia Boutique Hotel hot pool also seconds away and the complimentary upgrade to a larger room. Best regards! Ricardo: Guest Service Host
