The bed could have been a little more comfortable.

I loved the location of Tom's place and the view. Also, it was very relaxing swimming in the pool and looking out at the mountains around. Tom was very friendly and hospitable.

I would say the guest room's light is a little bit dim, and the location is not easy to find if without an exact Gps link. Will be a little bit difficult to find food around so we need to drive everywhere. But thanks Tom for the food recommendation and all the help! It is a pleasant stay!

Tom is amazing! A great mountain view and quiet location to enjoy the beautiful scenes just from the backyard of the house. His two cats are friendly and kind as well, they will welcome everyone new here! He showed us a short and attractive tour of his apt, studios, and campsite. We also caught a chance to see the sunrise as his apt is facing direct East. Thanks Tom!

I absolutely loved everything about this location. It was secluded and at the top of the mountain. We had our own pool with a gorgeous view of the mountains and ocean. We could also see the neighboring island. Tomas was wonderful and provided so much information. We didn't need a tour guide! He told us the best and closest beaches to go to and the best places to visit in San Juan. The room had everything we needed to cook our own meals to save on money. His property had beautiful trails we visited almost daily, exploring nature. Best of all, we got out own painting lesson. It was such a beautiful and relaxing trip, that we are already planning to come back soon. If you want to be in San Juan with the large crowds and be around tons of people constantly, this place would not be the best choice. If you want a relaxing and scenic place to stay, while being able to drive around the island, this is the place for you! Every night you could hear the animals and occasional rain and it would put me right to sleep. After getting home, it was oddly quiet without those beautiful nature sounds. It took us about 45 min to 1 hour to get into San Juan. There is a Walmart and nice shopping area within 15 minutes of this location. The driveway is a little intimidating at first, but I quickly got used to it. Overall, I would totally recommend this for any nature lover looking to enjoy a piece of paradise.

It’s a quite noisy at night because of the birds and the room and furniture look very old.

The owner is amazing! And location is very very nice: beautiful view on mountains and rainforest, birds signing at night, pool, etc. Late check out is also very nice.

Tomas is a great host, and the house was excellent. This place is a gem. Hanging out in the garden under the night sky, relaxing in the pool with the gorgeous view of the valley and Vieques in the distance were all really memorable.

We were so blown away by the location, it was so beautiful, private, and peaceful. The home is at the very top and the view is amazing!! We were surprised at the nearly vertical roads on the way to the home. The apartment itself is in the lower level of the home of a very friendly host. It felt like we were staying with a relative.. Tom made us feel right at home. There is no AC, but with airflow from fans it was not a problem for us at all. Falling asleep to the sounds of the coqui was lovely. Also a big bonus was that they had a washer and DRYER! (That seems hard to find in rentals in PR, and with all of the humidity and rain we had trouble with our clothes getting mildewed at other properties). The location was not far from civilization (about 20 minute drive from a couple of towns that had great food and coffee and some shopping). This was by far our favorite rental while we were in Puerto Rico and hope to come back to this magical mountain home!

This accomodation is part of paradise. The apartment is clean and has all amenities you need. The pool has a spectacular view of the surounding hills and sea in the distance. The owner is very friendly and always in for a chat. Can't recommend enough!
