the reception staff is critical, maybe she is the owner. only a bedroom behind a cafeteria. no other space for sitting and socialize. a bad mood receptionist.

Okay… so here’s a little list: • It is difficult to explain this without sounding rude. But first of all, the manager needs to work on her mood swings and to be a bit more friendly towards the customers. I felt like I needed to tip on my toes and didnt feel at ease from time to time. • there is no place for guests to chill, besides in the doorm room - which isn’t so pleasant as they turn off the AC during the hottest time of the day • the Wi-Fi is slow (they offer the 2,5 G and not the 5 G) • the bathrooms need more frequent refill of soap • then there are these schampo containers in the shower, but they are empty - (perhaps just take them down if you won’t fill them up) If these things would change I would happily come back and give a much higher rate! :) Cheers

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy and the location was also great. The best part was the breakfast that was included (when you book through Booking) - it tasted incredible! I extended my stay and stayed for a few more nights so that means I was happy with the accommodation, but there are room for improvements…

The floor in the bathroom is too slippery maybe add slippers or add something on the floor to make it safer to walk on.

I like everything from the staff and facilities! The location is excellent, like it's in the center, from bars, clubs, restaurants, and calenderias. 3-5 minutes away from the beach where you can snorkel and dive with sardines and sea turtles.

The room is a bit small for eight people, and there's only one bathroom for everyone. The room faces the restaurant directly, so it's a bit noisy. Don't use the common area. The staff is decent, though not very friendly

Due to it's location on a busy street, it can be a bit too noisy outside at night. Bring some earplugs with you and you should have no problems sleeping at night.

A wonderful little hostel that is actually located inside the Daily Sweet Café. The staff were very friendly and helped me arrange a driver who took me to the waterfalls. The dorm room is clean with A/C. The beds have curtains for privacy and there are lockers in the room. The bathroom could've been a little cleaner, but it wasn't too bad. I would highly recommend this hostel!

i always love to have a common spay in a hostel so you can just be there for a while, but this is a personal preference and they had a restaurant in which you could spend some time - so not a big deal

The old lady caretaker is not approachable. She is rude towards the guests and ill mannered. (The girls who worked there can attest to it) I hope the owner will take proper action as it can ruin the experience and the vibe of the hostel. The Philippines is usually the hottest during the day especially at noon or 11am until 5pm. So why turn off the AC during those time? Your “to help the planet” excuse doesn’t make sense since everything is on except the aircon LOL!

The hostel shares entrance, reception, staff etc with a cafe (same owners, so the staff works at the cafe and the hostel). There is no common area at the hostel, but you can sit in the cafe. It does feel a bit weird using the cafe when you are not a cafe-guest and need a place to be (other than the room), like eating your own food, facetiming etc.

The room and beds are very good. Plugs and curtain in the bed, so you get a lot of privacy. Very clean room and bathroom. Free water. Good wi-fi. Locker to storage your belongings. Good location, 1 min to supermarket, 10 sek to resturants, 3 min to beach.

Rooms a bit small and only one bathroom for 8 people. A bit noisy because of the street but totally manageable with earplugs.

Perfect location, next to the bars, restaurants and the beach. Nice outdoor space to take breakfast and chill. Staff nice and helpful. Cleaned every morning.

Lovely stay! I think we were lucky we stayed in the weekend because when we checked out there were constructions next door, making a lot of noise as of 9am it was fine because we always get up early, but for the breakfast it’s pretty loud. The breakfast is really nice tho - great egg sandwich with some fruit and a lemon juice 🍋

It was a small dorm room. The toilet was extremely loud after flushing and with the toilet/shower being located so close to the beds it was quite disturbing. Basically you could hear everything from outside, those walls were paper thin and located by one of the main roads it was stressful sleeping there. Got woken up at 5. Staff didn’t really speak English besides one person, and the hangout area is their cafe. I was missing somewhere to chill tbh.

The beds were clean and comfy. Best hot shower I’ve had in 3 weeks(actually a stable water pressure)
