Staff are amazing, they tend to recognise regulars which i appreciate the attentiveness to their jobs. Quick with catering to requests. Beds are very comfyyyy, get the best nights sleep. AND THE 24/7 PIZZA?? YESSS, amazing for when working late and need a bite.

I was really happy to be picked as Guest of the Day and got a room upgrade — such a nice surprise! Thank you. 😊 The front reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and comfy with a great view. Plus, the location was perfect 👌🏼.

Whether it was damp pillow or half dry linen, it was unpleasant to sleep. Smell was unpleasant. Other pillows were okay.

Though we arrived early, staff attended to us professionally, advising of room and storage of luggage at reception. When room was cleaned, staff took our bags to the room.

I noticed that the curtains were stained, probably from food. Could be taken down and washed.

On doing booking on booking.com, the hotel communication with me was superb. I asked for a room on level 2 with a seatee on the balcony, and I was pre-allocated a room. The view was great. We spent the weekend sitting outside and morning and evenings. Also close to the pool, I was able to enjoy a swim. Clean room, linens, towels, and kitchenette were well equipped with 2 mugs, tea, coffee, and bottled water.

The bed was annoying because there was a little ‘spike/ lat’ in the middle so my back was hurting. Also outside on the balcony there is no light so during the evening you couldn’t sit there..

The electric hot water jug was very dirty. Boiled water 4 times did not remove the stain. It was not rust, it was food, previous guests may have boiled something in the jug and some food left stuck in jug. Housekeeping were quick to remove and provide a brand new jug for us. House keeping to always check and remove items before next guest moves in.

Upon checkin, the staff were friendly, and we were attended by the duty manageress. Rooms were clean and pleasant when we entered. Fresh linens and TV was working well and remotes in place. Enjoyed the pool olon level 2, was clean and I was able to use it before other guests checked in the evening.

Couldn't use the gym facility as most of the Gym equipment's not safe to use or not in usable condition. Rusty and warn out. Need replacement.

Why doesn’t the hotel put shower gel and shampoo in the dispenser? And why are there no another hotel supplies in the room? Soap shampoo tooth brush lotion etc

The breakfast and, in general, food variety was very limited. The standard rooms are very very tiny. Not sure it gives value for money.

The noise from the swimming pool was a bit much. Every day in the evening. Also breakfast could use a little variety. Too predictable. Same thing every day. No freshly fried eggs was particularly bothering.

The hotel location was convenient and the room was kept clean. The cleaners actually do a really good job.

The pool is nice but isn't could do with an uppgrade such as more comfortable chairs, even sunbeds would be a big plus. The gaming room seems very run down and almost mal place in comparison to the rest of the hotel. Seems to be could be so much better usage to this space than a dark musty gaming room. A nice little cocktail bar with live music seems would be a better investment. The pizzas were also really good!

The location of this hotel is exceptional. And it's a beautifully built and construted hotel. Almost has a 60s vibe to it. The elevator has a nostalgic charm to it as does the staircase that leads down to the restaurant. Had a theatrical sense to it. The bakery is lovely with a delucuous sortiment of cakes and biscuits to lovely little lu ch packages. The bar overlooking Seaview is also a major plus!
