The shower does not stay warm for very long, but this is typical in Peru. Overall an incredible stay and I have no complaints!

It's a gorgeous space, beautiful rooms, and an incredible view! It's a great location in the old town, right next to the Incan irrigation paths, which mean you fall asleep to the sound of running water. The staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, even with my minimal Spanish. I loved gathering in the breakfast space in the morning for coffee, eggs, and a little fruit before going out to explore the town. If I ever come back to Ollantaytambo, this is where I would want to stay! I'll be recommending this spot to anyone mentioning they are visiting Peru.

The location is excellent—just steps from the Inca site and close to everything, yet peaceful. The breakfast was generous and satisfying. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Laura, the host, was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is really cute, extremely clean, and well located. It has super warm shower and confortable beds. Breakfast was good too. One of the best hotel we've stayed in Peru!!

Breakfast was the worst we’ve had in 3 weeks in Peru. 1 hard boiled egg, a few strips of cheese, bread. That’s it, plus coffee.

Clean, quieter area and next to start of trail to some ruins. Two biggest rooms have windows.

Charming old building in a convenient location with basic but clean rooms which had all the necessities. Staff were very welcoming and breakfast, even the one packed to go for an early start, was generous compared to others I saw.

Their hot water system needed a little work. After the first night there was plenty of warm water if you kept the faucet on full hot.

The location was great! The owners were very helpful with places to go, had a great breakfast for us every morning and interacted well with children and adults.

This property was absolutely lovely. We were treated like family. The guest house was close to the main square, but still very quiet. There were great views of the surrounding hills from the upstairs balcony. The breakfast was delicious, and they even packed us a breakfast on the day of our early departure to Machu Picchu.

Wifi was poor, but not a problem for us since neither of us needed to work. Unable to pay with card and had to pay multiple atm transaction fees. This again was only a minor inconvenience. I would highly recommend to stay at Picaflor Tambo and experience the beautiful town of ollantaytambo!

Location was within walking distance of the main plaza and train station. Quaint town with beautiful cobblestone streets and a flowing stream. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean with natural light. Breakfast was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable. They carried our luggage up and down the stairs, and tidied up our room while we were out exploring. This was overall a great place to rest after a long day of travel and Machu Picchu.

The internet connection was super unstable to the point we simply couldn’t use it. Someone has to open the door for you everytime you wish to enter or leave the hostel, which at times wasn’t very convenient.

- To get hot water you have to get the hot water dial on the proper low setting. Suggest asking for help if you have issues. - This didn't really bother us because we are comfortable sleeping with ear plugs, but some days the next door bar plays music past 10 pm (for those that need an early start).

- Esmeralda was our host and she was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly despite our minimal Spanish abilities - Breakfast with bread, avocado, tomato, cheese, fruit, cereal, tea and coffee -Evening hot water and tea brought to your room - Charming and cozy guest house - Great location, right next to the Pinkuylluna hike and short walk to everything else - Two pillow options (firm or softer)
