Antonio and Nicol were absolutely wonderful hosts! They communicated so much useful information, waited for us when we arrived late because of travel delays, called a tuk-tuk for us when we needed to get to the train station quickly, and provided an exceptional breakfast every morning, all with the most friendly attitudes we've ever experienced in hosts.

    Nothing.

The B and B was lovely, well decorated and had a beautiful view of the mountains right outside!

It was about a 10 minute walk uphill from the center of town. At an altitude of 9500 feet, that is a bit daunting.

Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable for our family of four. The view of the mountains was amazing and we enjoyed seeing the farms and surrounding community. Breakfasts were fantastic. The couple running the B&B are super nice and friendly. They helped us order food delivery when we arrived late, and they were responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay.

It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the town center. It’s a pleasant walk but you’ll want to hire a taxi if you’re carrying luggage.

This was the perfect spot. It was quiet and away from all the busyness of Ollantaytambo. The view from the roof was very special and the hosts were so kind and helpful. Would recommend to all!

We liked the views, value and hospitality

It was a little noisy being so close to the road, but I wore earplugs and it was fine

A beautiful spot overlooking the Andes Mountains with a beautiful rooftop with 360 degree views. I was pretty blown away with the cleanliness of the house, very comfortable bedding and pillows, the best hairdryer I’ve had since Ive been on the road for 5 weeks. Bedside lamp worked well with good mood lighting. Shampoo and conditioner provided. Clean bath towels and hand towels plus the floor towel which was missing in some of the other hotels I stayed on this trip. The setup is excellent for a B&B joint! And not to mention the service - Antonio was always at hand to help call the Motor taxi for me and he even packed me a special breakfast on the morning of my early departure. You feel the care and love they put into the house and their guests. Thank you. It felt like home to me.

It’s not so much about the property or the owners but it is about 5-7 minutes drive away from Ollantaytambo town and for lunch and dinner, you need to go into town for that. For me, especially after a long day, I just wanted to be in my room and have room service. BUT this is not a show stopper! You just need to plan better for the meals.

Nicole and Antonio were incredibly friendly and helpful hosts! They prepared us a delicious breakfast, and even sent us with a bag lunch on the morning we left for our Machu Picchu hike, making us feel so cared for. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the main square, which was actually really nice to have some separation from the hustle & bustle.

Absolutely charming! Antonio and Nicol are wonderful—very kind and helpful with both local recommendations and connecting us with a driver for a Sacred Valley tour that dropped us back in Cusco. It’s a little walk out from town but that’s part of the charm, very peaceful with great mountain views. Also—if the clouds are in your favor—the night sky is STUNNING. Milky Way was visible even over some local bright lights. Attached an unedited 4-second exposure I took with my (non-phone) camera. Naked eye is slightly less zoomed in and bright than that but still very impressive. Go watch some stars on the balcony. :)

This was a great home base for our exploration of the sacred valley. The owners were wonderful and helped us get a private driver to take us to a variety of must see locations

its about a 10 min walk up hill from the main square. If you have any physical limitations, that might be tough, but you can also grab a tuk tuk to get yourself there

This charming B&B is an absolute must-stay while in Ollantaytambo. Located just 900 meters from the main square, it’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area surrounded by local farmhouses and open farmland. The setting offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the majestic mountains—truly a soul-soothing escape from the bustle of town. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with super comfortable beds and plush pillows that made for restful nights. Each morning, a nourishing breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, with picturesque views that make you want to linger just a little longer. On the day I left early for my Machu Picchu hike, the kind and thoughtful owners were up before dawn to prepare a packed breakfast for me—true five-star service and hospitality. A perfect blend of comfort, care, and natural beauty. Highly recommended!

The owners were helpful and always happy to help. Breakfast was simple but good ans served quickly which was nice if you wanted to get a start to the day. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was nice to sit on for breakfast or during the day and provided a great view of the stars at night.

The location is a bit out of the way, but can still be walked to. The soundproofing isn't that great, luckily the other guests were respectful but without earplugs you'll hear things outside. The bathroom has a large gap above and below the door for ventilation (since there aren't fans) so there's little privacy with anyone else in your room.

Had a lovely stay at Ayllu B&B. It was only a 10 minute walk to the main square and walking distance from all the sites. The room was well sized and clean and just what we needed for our short 3 day stay. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. 🙂
