The room itself was quite small and the mattress too soft for our liking. There was no hot water during our stay, and the shower room had a window with a view directly into the neighbors’ property, which didn’t feel very private. When it rains, the sound of the tin roof can be loud, and noise from traffic, chickens, and dogs made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is centrally located on the main street, with an ATM next door and several restaurants and a supermarket nearby, which is convenient. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with an offer for a local excursion right on arrival.

Keys were big to carry around Poor internet 😔 No coffee steamer for special coffees but across the street had strong internet and steamer.

Cleaning woman exceptional after finding 2 spiders in room, killed them and covered hole in window.. Common kitchen excellent set up with gas stove. Respectful staff that were willing to work with our particular requests Secure entrance doors, sense of safety.

The kitchen equipment was very poor. Only 2 pans for boiling water. All but one of the pans had very wobbly handles and they got too hot to touch. Not enough space to sit in the kitchen and the balcony was often occupied by others.

There is no wardrobe or anything else to put your clothes. AND: There is no real outside area, like a garden or terrace. So there is basically no place to hang your wet clothes for drying. Or to put your surfboard. There is no real community area either, apart from the reception room with two small couches, that will be closed at around 7pm. So if you want to hang out, you can only do it in the restaurant bellow. They neighbors‘ chicken wake up pretty early and so will you! But that‘s fine, better than a noisy road, right? ;)

It‘s a nice place, pretty new and modern, everything is clean and works well. The kitchen is not super well equipped, but has the most important things you need. If you are you are a diver, the location is perfect. For surfers I recommend other places closer to the main surf spot La Punta.

Not social (there is no common area). There is only one guy who speaks English (he is really nice 10/10) but the others do not and when you try with google translate to ask something and eventually they’re sick of trying to understand they keep on talking very fast Spanish kind of as a terminating the question/ conversation which I think is a bit rude

I couldn't sleep. Even with ear plugs. The dogs barked from midnight to 3 am, then the rooster started at 3:15 am until 6:30 or so. This is no fault of the hostal, but be warned, unless you are a heavy sleeper....

The bed is not comfortable, there is a plastic sheet underneath which could make you slide. I think people take the bath towel out to the beach so there are stains on white towels.

The bed was very small for 2 people (1.20m?) and also very hard. Kitchen is not that well equipped, but okayish for a few days. It’s a bit loud, but for such a central location it’s fair.

Restaurants around are expensive, so the shared kitchen is really something worthy, and It’s easy to connect with the other guests. The only ATM, s small supermarket, a good fruit shop, restaurants, cafes, dive centers and a small beach are within 1 minute by foot. We weren’t happy the first day because it was extremely loud, so we complained and the personal was super nice and helpful. They offered us a refund of the remaining days. We decided to stay anyway, and the following days the noise was (for such a central location) absolutely okay. Downstairs is a café that is closed in the evening, offering a nice place to eat the self made food and check up the town from the edge.

It‘s quite a walk to the beach (approx. 2km) and we were missing some common area to relax.

For catching a bus or boat the location is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It also has a cafe included where good breakfast is served (not included in the room).

5 minutes walk from the beach and dive centers. We didn't use but there is a furnished kitcken available. Breakfast not available but you have really good optipns just outside of the hostel. Nice and new air conditioning system.
