The service and facilities of this hotel were exceptional. It was just a lovely stay. It's well-located in Casco Viejo, has nice outdoor pool, and good restaurants within. Starting each day with such a perfect breakfast was particularly memorable. We really enjoyed the tour of the lobby and traditional dance exhibition each evening. Would stay here again next time I'm in Panama City!

We arrived at designated check in time but had to wait for 1.5h. Got an upgraded room, however, there were no good views or balcony. I suspect our originally booked room would have had better views and had a balcony.

Facilities are great. Liked location - right in old city. Very clean. Nice staff. Rooms are well maintained: AC, bathrooms, lights - everything works very well.

I TRULY CANT THINK OF ANYTHING I DIDN"T LIKE.

EVERY MEAL THAT I HAD WAS EXCEPTIONAL INCLUDING MY BREAKFAST OF SALMON EGGS BENEDICT.I CELEBRATED MY BIRTHDAY THERE;I HAD LUNCH AND DINNER IN LA CALETA. THE PRESENTATION OF EACH DISH WAS UNIQUE; THE FOOD ITSELF WAS DELICIOUS AND FRESH!! THE WHOLE STAFF SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY ;BRINGING ME TO TEARS!!THE 90 MINUTE MASSAGE WAS AWESOME. This is an excellent property in a historical building in the best area of the old city. Staff members are incredibly attentive: you are treated as a guest with a name and not as a room number. The CALETA restaurant is a delight in both design and quality. I cannot recommend enough this hotel.

A slight damp smell in the room.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful, especially the staff. The location was fantastic; the rooms were spotless and large in size. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The rooftop bar was lovely and had great views.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel with charming touches throughout. Our room was spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing. We had coffee in the morning on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and wonderful (special mention to Jesus and Gerrardo and Yazit and other staff at the restaurant). The whole area of Casco Viejo is beautiful and the hotel is perfectly located for strolls all through the day. An absolutely beautiful hotel. We loved our stay!

I didn't like the restroom. It's an older hotel and the bathroom stall could use an upgrade. The bathroom has an unpleasant smell. Staff scrubbed the floors and still there is a musky scent. The bathroom pipes and fixtures are old and the bathroom floors should be replaced.

I enjoyed the restaurant, and the wonderful customer service. The staff was extremely accommodating.

We LOVED the hotel and everything about our stay, but departure was confusing. At our noon check-out, we ordered to cab for 3 p.m. to our next stop. When we came back to catch the cab, we had no problem retrieving our bags, but were given conflicting information about where to wait for the cab. Only on the third inquiry, did we finally find that nothing we had been told was correct and that it had already been there for 20 minutes.

Everything about the hotel was amazing! Great location, great staff, the room was perfection, the food was delicious, the view from our balcony was exactly as hoped for and the pool was heaven. We couldn't have wished for more.
