Great hotel and fantastic location near the bay of Boca Chica. We had the room above the restaurant with great views and ample space. Restaurant excellent and great staff. Perfect location for your activities in the area.

Swimming pool is a bit small, so perhaps not perfect when travelling with young children if they want to jump in the pool. Pool is rather relaxing area. However, plenty of alternative beach / sea activities at reach when travelling with children.

Beautiful property, gorgeous views. Decent restaurant, not fabulous but affordable and tasty enough. I really likes the dock/tiki bar downstairs. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Was not an issue for me, but if you have mobility issues, you will hate it. Having said that, the set up is the charm :)

Very comfortable beds and accommodating staff. They prepared our tuna which we had caught that day and it was wonderful!

It was expensive, which is why we only could stay one night.

The location is great. The restaurant and service were also good!

The best rooms are very down close to the beach, but very far for the restaurant :-)

Beautiful..everything. The bungalow was lovely overlooking the bay, clean, quiet, good wifi. Parking. Little dock to sit with a cocktail and read a book. Restaurant meals and drinks were excellent value and good quality. Lovely helpful staff. A fabulous stay.

Concierge Juan very friendly and well spoken. Other staff were very helpful and tolerant of crazy americans. We were brought a hummingbird feeder once we were seen enjoying them so much at breakfast!

Could hear but not see howler monkeys! Seriously, it all was good. It is a bit beyond our usual budget.

Every morning felt like waking up in paradise, but one morning in particular stood out: we were gently awoken by the distant sound of howler monkeys, and to our amazement, we could see them right from our balcony! It was a magical, surreal experience that we’ll never forget. The location is perfect. Just a short, peaceful stroll through nature brings you to a stunning beach where we spent hours relaxing and soaking up the sun. The entire property feels like it’s been lovingly nestled into its surroundings, with nature ever-present but never intrusive. The food was consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a delight, and the service made it even better. The staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. Their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed and made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. While the swimming pool was on the smaller side, we still loved every moment we spent there. Surrounded by jungle sounds, it became our favorite spot to unwind in the afternoons. There’s something incredibly soothing about lounging in fresh water while listening to tropical birds and distant monkey calls. This was more than just a vacation—it was an experience that reconnected us with nature and each other. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already dreaming of our return. The room was spacious, quiet and very clean, the hotel in general was very pretty and the views were breathtaking. The staff treated us very well and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely go again.

The pool was a bit small and there were a lot of stairs throughout the property. After a couple of days our legs were hurting! The island tours should have the option for the guests to choose what they want to eat or drink at the beach, even if it has an extra cost. These are all little things, overall we loved it.

Amazing location, gorgeous paradise.

We loved the size of the resort. It always felt like we were with just a few other couples. The staff was above and beyond for friendliness, knowledge, flexibility and service. They strived to make us feel welcome. Just the right amount of luxury while being a down to earth comfortable atmosphere.

Service/wait time for food for lunch and dinner at restaurant was incredibly long. I hope they can find a way to improve.

Beautiful setting; extremely friendly and helpful staff! We also enjoyed the restaurant. We stayed in the lowest cabana right by the beach and the peaceful view and sound of waves from our porch was lovely. Umbrellas provided by hotel up in restaurant and in accommodations were a helpful touch in case of showers.

Mattress had plastic cover with no pad under the sheet, so very sweaty for sleeping even with comfy air temp from A/C. A few small updates like replacing or fixing the wobbly floor lamp; for the price, furnishings were a bit tired.

This was our third time staying there, I believe that says it all.
