Great location, great restaurant and pool, great staff. It is totally worthy! The rooms are spacious and clean, and it’s nice to chill in the amaca with the geckos and the iguanas. The staff is particularly friendly - ask them for tips and to book with a local tour to visit Coiba, you won’t regret it! There’s also a great selection of surfboards to get for free to try at the Playa el Estero.

We liked everything about it.

The hotel is rated the best in Santa Catalina and I don't doubt that. The outward appearance is clean, attractive and well maintained.

That would be a long list. The kitchenette lacked basic amenities. The restaurant was swarming with hungry mosquitoes. The smart TV could not connect to wifi for more than a few minutes. The "king-size" bed was actually two twin beds pushed together. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. In short, little effort was made to make the room comfortable.

Property was nicely situated and maintained. Rooms where spacious enough. The hammocks where nice but not perfect. Restaurant breakfast was good and very good cocktails.

The beds look very try good but unfortunately the matrassen are worn and it felt like you slept in a pit, not comfortable. The hammocks are a nice touch but in our case directly above a small wall and you had to be careful not to hurt your back. The pool looked great on the pictures but in reality needs a good clean. The manager/reception wasn’t very welcoming and asking things felt like a burden. No information about excursions etc when checking in or other information except about the room cleaning. All in all not bad but wouldn’t visit again.

This is a beautiful hotel, located in a cute, surfy town with easy access to Coiba. We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner and her team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, and also helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We stayed in the family room which is gorgeous…comfy beds, very effective aircon (much needed when we were in SC!), a good shower and handy kitchen facilities. The kids particularly loved the hammocks outside. The pool is stunning and we found the food in the restaurant excellent. Can’t recommend this place more highly!

Large rooms with very nice furnishings. Wonderful pool and scenic views of the ocean. Wonderful staff. I liked it all. The breakfast was so delicious.

I stayed here cause Jon Hanna is a zonian like me. I'm Class of 1990. Jon used to live in my neighborhood on Croton St, I lived on Empire St. Balboa. I was cool to see him there and I chatted with him a bit.

For us it was THE BEST place from all we had during our 3 weeks trip through Panama. The resort is quiet but within walking distance to the "donwtown", the whole place is beautiful and well maintained, the pool has tranquil view over the ocean, the food was great and the coctails as well:-) The double bed was huge (200x200 cm) and very comfortable. The bunk beds for kids were also fine.

the so-called "infinity pool" is a small pool not really made for swimming, the hotel is located at rocks about 700 m from the beach
