Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSaturday was extremely crowded, and it felt like there weren’t enough staff to manage the large number of guests — it took a long time to get food and even coffee. By Sunday, many people had left, and the atmosphere was much more relaxed and enjoyable. Service improved, and the overall experience was better.
“Beautiful beach, lush gardens, and great dining options!” We had a fantastic stay at Decameron. The beach was absolutely stunning, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The gardens throughout the property are beautifully maintained and add so much to the atmosphere. With the All-Inclusive Plus option, we loved having access to several à la carte restaurants — a great variety and excellent service. Overall, a great experience!

United StatesWe should have been refunded or compensated for their bad check in organization, We spent whole afternoon in line for check in and then another line to get key. When finally got key, both rooms haven't been cleaned so we had to wait and make sure rooms got done. Also next day, we were invaded by flying termites because room doors aren't properly sealed.

United StatesAll inclusive plus is a total scam. They said I paid extra for this “premium” offering but I would have paid extra to avoid it. It’s incredibly far from the main facilities so you have to take a shuttle to get to them. They literally put us in the far est building from the water slide despite me being there with kids. There’s one restaurant and one pool that are no better than the main areas with all the restaurants and pools and slides and stage. I would have been furious if they made us stay there but fortunately they moved us to a great prime location. The two other negatives is that there weren’t clean beach towels any day we were there so we used the same dirty towels all week and all drinks at pools are served in paper cups.
Beach was beautiful, movies on beach each night so fun, loved the shallow pool you can put your chair in, evening shows were fun. And they moved us from all inclusive plus to an amazing location (see below).

ColombiaIt can be ver loud and there is not even one calm corner to escape the noises. Check-in takes very long and we did not receive any information about the hotel, schedules etc. The air conditioning in the room is super loud and beds are not comfy.
My favorite from all Decameron Hotels. The area is very nice, the beach is great, the pools are great. It never feels too full and there is enough space for everyone and activities for every age and preference. Our room was very spacious.

SpainI have stayed in this hotel twice. Depending on the modul where you sleep, you can hear everything that is being said in the rooms next door (conversations, TV). It was difficult to sleep. Also, in high season you have to queue for everything (towels, reception, drinks, food), this could easily be improved with a better management by the hotel.
The staff is very friendly. Food and drinks are good. Different and big pools and a nice beach. They also do a lot of activities to entertain. Unfortunately the hotel only allows to swim in some pools and beach only until 17h.

CanadaThe wifi is the worse I ever experienced, it's terrible... needed to sign in constantly and always drops off. It's so annoying.
Lovely staff, hardworking, food was good, the hotel needs updates, the balcony door was very hard to open, there were no drinks in the fridge, only one bottle of water to share.

United Statesi had hoped there would be an upscale dining option. although the ala carte restaurants offered seated dining, the lack of printed menus and the meals offered did not seem to be an elevated experience.
overall, we very much enjoyed the property and room! our room was very spacious (ocean view plus 1 king bed) and clean. i would suggest reserving the all-inclusive PLUS option as the room comes with a stocked fridge (4 cans of soda, 2 cans of beer, 2 bottles of water, 1 full sized bottle of wine) that is restocked daily AND you’ll have access to a couple of pools that not everyone can use. they even enforce the private pool use! all the staff we’ve come across were nice and they kept the property tidy. a couple things to note that i dont necessarily consider bad: the drive is a minimum 1.5 hours but it took us over 2.5 due to traffic from PTY airport lobby 3 is a little difficult to find - especially if you’re arriving at night if you’re in the 40’s buildings, be prepared to hike up and down stairs to get to the main pools and restaurants
