Overpriced, and a bit overrated here on booking.com, but we had a wonderful time there.

I truly loved the warm, family-style hospitality of the owner — a level of care and attention you don’t often find in guesthouses. Everything was well-organized and pleasant, from the breakfast service to the room and property maintenance.

I have to say, I loved everything — I’d be happy to come back to this place every year.

Our stay couldn’t be any better , the host welcomed us and made us feel extremely comfortable and gave us tips to ensure we enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect !

The host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was just amazing with fresh fruits, juice, bread and huge tasty omelette (you can choose other options too!). The room was very clean, cozy and the whole hotel area is beautiful! We definitely recommend this B&B!

Ania’s place is immaculate. The room was very clean as was the rest of the property. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning and I felt more like I was staying with a friend than renting from Ania.

The room is nice but it’s pretty basic for the price. Nowhere to put your clothes or sit, apart from the bed. I’ve learned this is common in Bocas but just a heads up there’s no shampoo or conditioner.

Excellent location… near everything you want to do but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy cities! Best custom made breakfasts for all of us! So fresh too!

It was all perfect!

Beautiful property, super well maintained, beautiful deck and common area. Room was perfect, AC worked great, nice shower with good pressure. Ania is an absolute gem, amazing host. Breakfast was delicious, fruit in season, homemade bread and I recommend the French toast! Amazing! Water taxi brought us straight to her dock and would pick us up there too.

Ania is an outstanding host, always available to answer any questions about the destination and happy to assist in planning activities. Her homemade breakfast, freshly prepared each morning according to individual preferences, is excellent. This beautiful accommodation is the perfect starting point for a paradise-like and lovely experience in Bocas del Toro.

We loved our stay at Riva even though we did not get the best weather during our 3 night stay. It was easy to fall asleep listening to the waves and Carenero had a nice quiet vibe in spite of it being a short ride to the frenzy of Bocas. Ania’s place was very comfortable and felt like home. The breakfast was always the highlight and set a good tone for the day. She also gave great suggestions on things to do and make the most of the weather. Overall a great stay, would do it again!

My adult children and I were lucky enough to spend a total of nine days in this dreamlike place because we were able to reach all the other islands quickly from Carenero by water taxi without having to stay somewhere else every time. The B&B is definitely one of the most beautiful, cleanest and most stylish accommodations, run with a lot of heart and passion by Ania. Every morning we had a freshly prepared, hearty breakfast with a selection of fresh fruit and juices and delicious omelettes. The (filter coffee!) coffee was ready before breakfast the next morning and was my morning highlight. After breakfast, you can jump directly from the jetty into the turquoise sea and examine starfish and enjoy a unique view. Ania is a very warm and loving hostess and can give you valuable tips for your stay. She does everything to make you feel completely at home. You can cuddle her dog and cat from time to time or relax with a book in her hammock. Also a great thing about the accommodation is that you can quickly reach the supermarket or the nearest restaurants, there are beautiful beaches nearby, but you can also find peace and quiet in the accommodation. All in all, a fantastic place to stay.

Ania is an amazing hostess. She provided a wonderful welcome, helpful information of what to do, a cute B&B, great views and amazing breakfast. We were lucky to have the quietest room. Ania will greet you in French, Polish, Spanish and English.

This is not luxury… the accommodations are basic but very comfortable.

Ania was a wonderful host, she made us feel so welcome and like part of the family! We loved spending time on the deck with Lucian the gorgeous resident dog, it really is the perfect place to relax. There are snorkels around to use in the little swimming area in front of the property, and we spent hours under water spotting fishes. Ania gave us some great tips for things to do on the island, we especially loved the local taco truck and the Sunday party at the Coquitos. It was easy to get boats to and from, so we were able to enjoy the peace of this island but still explore everywhere else. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet so we slept very well. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing, the best fruit platter we had on our trip and a great way to start the day. We loved our time here and hope to come back one day!

We loved our stay here - Ania was so welcoming and helpful with what to do and how to get around. The breakfasts were incredible, and the location was perfect - easy to get to Bocas town but Carenero also we had everything we needed with great food and bars, and companies to go diving and surfing with.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. Anja could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Great breakfasts and a couple of fabulous bars/ restaurants a short walk away.

Absolutely amazing place! The location on Isla Carenero is perfect—offering both privacy and easy access to everything via boat taxi. The swimming opportunities right outside were fantastic! Our host, Ania, was incredibly caring and helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. The breakfast was delightful, with everything we could wish for, and was served on a beautiful terrace right by the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Can't think of anything bad

The place is beautifully located on an idyllic island that's brimming with gorgeous nature, cute little beaches, and great beach bars and cafes. I easily spent two days of my trip just on this island living the chilled life. You're super close to the main island and a short journey away from red frog beach and other islands which is perfect. Bocas main island is obviously more bustling but it youre not into big parties every night and want the mix of chill and fiesta then this is the one. Decor is gorg, Ania is the most lovely host, and she has a gorgeous dog and two cats which made my solo adventures feel more like home. She gives you great tips on how to spend your trip AND the breakfast is insane. Top that off with a morning snorkel and you've got a paradise stay. I will be back to bocas and will for sure stay here again!!!!

Perfect location, a $1 water taxi ride from Bocas town, Riva is a sweet, clean, comfortable place to stay. It is perfectly located between several excellent restaurants. Ania is a kind, delightful host who has thought if everything and serves the best breakfasts! (And you can swim off the dock.)

The property is beautiful and cosy. The room was very clean with comfy bed. The host Ania was amazing, very welcoming and gave me all info needed to spend an amazing time there. The breakfasts are very delicious. The island is super cute and calm and not super crowded, ideal for people that prefer quiet vacations.

Sand flies are ferocious, don’t forget your mosquito repellent.

Ania was very kind and helpful. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us and gave us information about all the places we could visit and information about where to have dinner. The bedroom was light and airy and had a sliding door to a balcony overlooking the sea and we could swim directky from the terrace.

A heavenly place to spend a few days. Fabulous location, room with sea view and beaches outside. All facilities clean and functional. Anya is an exceptional host, warm and helpful. Her breakfast is amazing and made with love. Room was fantastic with large bed, bathroom and balcony. Outside area is a haven to relax and watch life, many fish and pelicans or hail a water taxi. We've travelled the world and this place and Anya are exceptional. Always grateful x

Our stay at Riva was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived,Ania made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality and attention to detail. The property itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The breakfast was simply delicious - fresh, homemade, and the perfect way to start the day. Ania also went above and beyond by giving us fantastic tips on things to do and, more importantly, what to avoid to ensure we had the best experience without falling for any tourist traps. Adding to the charm of Riva were her adorable pets a sweet dog Lucian and two lovely cats who made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality, this is it! Everything was perfect, and if we ever go again to Bocas we will stay here! Highly recommended!

I felt so welcoming and I felt like being at home - this is a feeling you want to have when you are on holiday! Ania was so helpful planning and organizing the trips with local guides, the breakfast in the morning was super delicious and the atmosphere in general was amazing! Thank you for making this stay so special Ania!
