The host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was just amazing with fresh fruits, juice, bread and huge tasty omelette (you can choose other options too!). The room was very clean, cozy and the whole hotel area is beautiful! We definitely recommend this B&B!

Beautiful property, super well maintained, beautiful deck and common area. Room was perfect, AC worked great, nice shower with good pressure. Ania is an absolute gem, amazing host. Breakfast was delicious, fruit in season, homemade bread and I recommend the French toast! Amazing! Water taxi brought us straight to her dock and would pick us up there too.

Ania is an outstanding host, always available to answer any questions about the destination and happy to assist in planning activities. Her homemade breakfast, freshly prepared each morning according to individual preferences, is excellent. This beautiful accommodation is the perfect starting point for a paradise-like and lovely experience in Bocas del Toro.

We loved our stay at Riva even though we did not get the best weather during our 3 night stay. It was easy to fall asleep listening to the waves and Carenero had a nice quiet vibe in spite of it being a short ride to the frenzy of Bocas. Ania’s place was very comfortable and felt like home. The breakfast was always the highlight and set a good tone for the day. She also gave great suggestions on things to do and make the most of the weather. Overall a great stay, would do it again!

My adult children and I were lucky enough to spend a total of nine days in this dreamlike place because we were able to reach all the other islands quickly from Carenero by water taxi without having to stay somewhere else every time. The B&B is definitely one of the most beautiful, cleanest and most stylish accommodations, run with a lot of heart and passion by Ania. Every morning we had a freshly prepared, hearty breakfast with a selection of fresh fruit and juices and delicious omelettes. The (filter coffee!) coffee was ready before breakfast the next morning and was my morning highlight. After breakfast, you can jump directly from the jetty into the turquoise sea and examine starfish and enjoy a unique view. Ania is a very warm and loving hostess and can give you valuable tips for your stay. She does everything to make you feel completely at home. You can cuddle her dog and cat from time to time or relax with a book in her hammock. Also a great thing about the accommodation is that you can quickly reach the supermarket or the nearest restaurants, there are beautiful beaches nearby, but you can also find peace and quiet in the accommodation. All in all, a fantastic place to stay.

Ania was a wonderful host, she made us feel so welcome and like part of the family! We loved spending time on the deck with Lucian the gorgeous resident dog, it really is the perfect place to relax. There are snorkels around to use in the little swimming area in front of the property, and we spent hours under water spotting fishes. Ania gave us some great tips for things to do on the island, we especially loved the local taco truck and the Sunday party at the Coquitos. It was easy to get boats to and from, so we were able to enjoy the peace of this island but still explore everywhere else. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet so we slept very well. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing, the best fruit platter we had on our trip and a great way to start the day. We loved our time here and hope to come back one day!

We loved our stay here - Ania was so welcoming and helpful with what to do and how to get around. The breakfasts were incredible, and the location was perfect - easy to get to Bocas town but Carenero also we had everything we needed with great food and bars, and companies to go diving and surfing with.

Can't think of anything bad

Absolutely amazing place! The location on Isla Carenero is perfect—offering both privacy and easy access to everything via boat taxi. The swimming opportunities right outside were fantastic! Our host, Ania, was incredibly caring and helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. The breakfast was delightful, with everything we could wish for, and was served on a beautiful terrace right by the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The place is beautifully located on an idyllic island that's brimming with gorgeous nature, cute little beaches, and great beach bars and cafes. I easily spent two days of my trip just on this island living the chilled life. You're super close to the main island and a short journey away from red frog beach and other islands which is perfect. Bocas main island is obviously more bustling but it youre not into big parties every night and want the mix of chill and fiesta then this is the one. Decor is gorg, Ania is the most lovely host, and she has a gorgeous dog and two cats which made my solo adventures feel more like home. She gives you great tips on how to spend your trip AND the breakfast is insane. Top that off with a morning snorkel and you've got a paradise stay. I will be back to bocas and will for sure stay here again!!!!

Perfect location, a $1 water taxi ride from Bocas town, Riva is a sweet, clean, comfortable place to stay. It is perfectly located between several excellent restaurants. Ania is a kind, delightful host who has thought if everything and serves the best breakfasts! (And you can swim off the dock.)

The property is beautiful and cosy. The room was very clean with comfy bed. The host Ania was amazing, very welcoming and gave me all info needed to spend an amazing time there. The breakfasts are very delicious. The island is super cute and calm and not super crowded, ideal for people that prefer quiet vacations.

Ania was very kind and helpful. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us and gave us information about all the places we could visit and information about where to have dinner. The bedroom was light and airy and had a sliding door to a balcony overlooking the sea and we could swim directky from the terrace.

A heavenly place to spend a few days. Fabulous location, room with sea view and beaches outside. All facilities clean and functional. Anya is an exceptional host, warm and helpful. Her breakfast is amazing and made with love. Room was fantastic with large bed, bathroom and balcony. Outside area is a haven to relax and watch life, many fish and pelicans or hail a water taxi. We've travelled the world and this place and Anya are exceptional. Always grateful x

Such a homely feel cute property, Ania the host was super welcoming and informative. She freshly prepared breakfast and the fruit platter was so good. Clean and comfortable stay, nice hot shower. The jetty for the boats is right at the door step.

Hated that we ever had to go back home.

Ania is an Amazing host, overflowing with positive energy, hospitality and a contagious love for the islands, she opens up her home to provide a private and cozy setting for her intimate number of guests. The complimentary coffee, fruit bowl and breakfast were delicious (order the French toast) and made for very easy mornings and a great start to the day. Her dog Lucien (Lu Lu) was the perfect companion to lazy afternoons on the dock. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Our host, Enya was incredibly hospitable, caring and went over the top for us! The breakfast was delicious ESPECIALLY the homemade island bread they served! It was so relaxing to fall asleep to the waves at night and the community space was perfect for meeting other travelers. Enya has snorkeling gear available for use for free, just dive right in off the dock and you may see starfish! She gave us excellent food recommendations and really took the best care of us. We felt like she was our island mama - not to mention her friend who helped with breakfast was also such a delight! Thank you for an amazing stay <3

Nothing: Rooms are luxurious and clean, real good shower.

Anja is the best and nicest host we ever had. We have been travelling through Panama for two weeks now and have been to fancy hotels far more expensive, but Riva was the very best. Anja serves the best breakfast all fresh and healthy. You can relax during the day on the deck. We really felt welcome. Anja gives you every help to arrange transport. The Island is really relaxed, quiet, but enough nice restaurants. You cab enjoy the fun of Bocas del Toro, but without the noise and crowd. In two minites by boat you are at Bocas (2 dollar for 2 pers). It is really easy to get a boat. We would really like to come back someday and recommend you to go to Riva
