The 18th floor had a horrible odor, and the pool was closed for a scheduled remodel. I wish the staff could have said something, I could have changed my dates so that I could relax by the pool. One of the main reasons for my travel was to relax.

The only thing that needs to change is the mildew type smell in the hallway, but the place is very clean and maintained.

The property was very nice and right in the place where we didn’t have to go far to meet our needs. They also have an awesome breakfast with everything you could want.

Everything was good except that I wasn't notified about the pool being out of service at the time of my stay but everything else was amazing as always. It's my 3rd time at the property.

First we had a room next to the elevator and the airco was not working properly. But we soon got another room and also the staff called to ask if everything was ok afterwards!

What I didn't like is the hotel did not indicate pool services were unavailable before check in due to a remodel of the pool. Additionally their was a flooding on one of the floors and the entire building had no water for almost 8 hours and staff had no estimate on when it would have been fixed.

The location within Panama city was great and very close to most activities. The rooms were clean and breakfast was exceptional.

My room on the 31st floor didn’t allow me to see the view of outside. It was misty the entire time, didn’t clear up not once. Bit disappointing especially since it’s not a balcony, it would’ve been good to be able to see, at least.

I didn't know beforehand that the pool was under renovation. But it didn't spoil the trip one bit.

My second time here and it did not disappoint! Breakfast was exceptional, staff was very friendly- especially Eliezer, he was so accommodating, friendly and attentive. Rooms were beautiful, very clean and had such a breathtaking view.

The smell of the carpets in the room and hallway is off and need deep cleaning.

Everything was great. From the start we were welcomed with a smile and suggestions for whatever we asked. The room was very comfortable and the room service was on point. The location is great. We even went to the karaoke bar opposite the RIU and had a blast.

The staff was amazing! Laura was the one who handled our booking and she made sure everything went smoothly after we came a day later because of the cancellation of our flight. The beds were comfortable and the showers were a delight. The breakfast was great with a big variety of fruit and a different speciality every day. We would definitely stay at the RIU again during our next trip.

Service at the pool restaurant can be better. It contrasted the great service we overall received in the hotel.

Breakfast was very well. There were ample choice in the offerings. One particular aspect that was very pleasing was the artistic decorations the one of the room attendants (cleaning lady) by the name of Mrs. Ashly Santos was making with towels when making up the beds. We loved it. It made us feel welcome. I made sure to also tell her that we loved and appreciated her work.
