You have to order the meals: chicken and rice was 7,50 USD and breakfast (eggs and corn pancakes) 3,75 USD. I asked for coffee with milk, because I thought it was included and it was charged as an extra. No wi-fi. We were the only guests and the property managers were 2 teenage kids, which felt a bit "amateur".

This accommodation is "in the middle of nowhere", but closeby by car to Portobelo and Puerto Lindo where you can take boats to the nearby islands. The scenery in the middle of the forest is beautiful and the pool very nice. They have a nice and friendly dog.

Lots of mosquitos by the nearby river during the rainy season.

The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The owner can prepare tasty foods and drinks according to request. There is a swimming pool I didn't use, but the biggest + is that the owner can arrange trips for you which are priced cheaper than you find on official tour sites.

Our room had no fridge but there is a shared fridge in the common area so not a big deal.

The pool was great to cool down after a busy day. It's in an outstanding condition. Optional breakfast was great and there is a possibility to order dinner.

Wonderful hosts who made the stay for us. Can’t recommend it highly enough, they go out of their way to ensure you have an amazing time. Free tour on the first day was excellent. Comfortable with a great location. Go and you won’t be disappointed!

While allowed to make our own meals (stove and refrigerator) the outdoor kitchen was short on commonly needed utensils and lacked bowls.

Be ready for the cold water & some insects, but its normal in the jungle. Outdoor kitchen should be more equipped & clean.

Amazing place to stay in the jungle. Room very spacious, freshly renovated. Breakfasts were very good. All the amenities were nice. Host answered all our questions.

The house is a succession of extensions and add-ons and feels unfinished which breaks the vibe of the gorgeous surrounding nature.

We visited the region to spend a few days in/nearby the forest. From the lodge, we could observe an incredible diversity of birds. It was a convenient base, there aren’t many accommodation options around here. Lilibeth was always available and helpful with advice, organizing trips, and she was even our guide on one hike. The room had good aircon.
