Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bathroom is not well lit and the bedroom is tiny although it was comfortable. The refrigerator was not very cold and we couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature. The gym in the building is not well equipped.
The location was excellent. It's private, safe, with access to beautiful pools and a lovely quiet beach and great views from the balcony. I loved making my coffee in the morning and sitting out on the balcony to start my day. The kitchen was fully equipped and the place was clean A small but well stocked grocery store is right down the street and the supermarkets, multiple restaurants, and other stores were a quick drive to Coronado Beach.

AustraliaThe space too clinical makes it looks cold. I would add color and a different vibe considering is in the Beach. Also it seems far from places to eat or buy food. I would add a kettle to the kitchen.
Acces to the beach and pool for the kids. We also enjoyed the social bar that just opened when we arrived down the premises close to the pool. A new business within the building so I hope stay there as make your holidays more fun.

PanamaAir conditioning doesn’t cool enough and the floor is mood with some product that make it very sticky, silky and a very uncomfortable feeling and since the AC doesn’t work properly the floor becomes really sweaty and not nice to walk on then, tried to clean but no luck. We have a 2 year old child and she spend most of her time on the floor!
Comfortable, great location and the apt was tidy.

PanamaThe apartment had several issues including two non functioning fans, a broken microwave, and a non-functioning refrigerator (which we were only informed of after we arrived with all of our groceries). The kitchen supplies were very basic. Not much investment had been made in quality products (tv, bedding, towels, there was a broken leg on the futon). I expected more for what we were paying. Much of the building is unfinished and it isn’t a pretty view. The pool areas felt a little understaffed and some additional maintenance was needed (pool cleanliness, addressing a few bees nests, there was a dead bird by the pool).
Beautiful location. The three pools were lovely. The apartment was a good size for a family of four. It was nice to have access to a dryer.
