The room and especially the bathroom were quite small. The height of the shower was not enough, I had to bent to take a shower. Some offerings in the menu were not available although they were listed - the menu should have been updated with what's available. The cleaning service was not satisfactory.

The wifi was unusable in our room. It was fine at the restaurant and bar but in the room Netflix was not usable due to this nor could our mobile devices work reliably in wifi.

The rooms are a little sparse and there was not enough hot water for showers.

The concierge /reception (especially Lelys) were amazing in organizing tours, transfers etc - informative, responsive, reliable and always with a big smile.

Unfortunately, there’s a construction going on next to the hotel (I’m not sure if it’s on the hotel’s property or next door, and didn’t ask). It starts early I the morning, at around 7:30-8:00, and it goes on until 6:00 pm. So basically, all day. For us it wasn’t a problem since we were out most of the day, but it was kind of annoying to sit down on the beautiful deck and hear the loud machines going. Regardless, it’s a wonderful place and we will stay there again.

Elegant and comfortable. Beautiful gardens. You feel transported to another era of hotel elegance and super boutique style All the staff are excellent. The main rest is outstanding food decor and super staff.

The rooms are dated and seem updated last time in the previous century. The bathrooms have a level of a cheap motel. The breakfast is average, and the adjoining restaurant is not even average for Panama. But the worst thing is they rent rooms to you during the festival in January where you can't sleep; you are sitting in your bed up to 4:30 am, getting crazy. After this disaster, you must fight with this hotel for a refund. It was the worst service in a hotel I ever experienced. They praise themselves as a Panamanian luxury hotel brand GVA Hospitality member. Mostly, nothing in this hotel is premium or luxury. This could be a fantastic place, but for this, it needs massive updating and new management. Stay away; Boquete offers many better options!

There are two good things about this hotel. The bar is excellent, with excellent service. And the setting with the yard and the landscaping is lovely. Furthermore, the parking is good, and the personnel is friendly.

Everything was lovely. The hotel was beyond expectation. The entire environment is beautiful and relaxing. We were on business trip and had a packed schedule, otherwise would love to spend more time to enjoy the hotel. Dine in breakfast and dinner was delicious, there were two mornings that we had to go out very early and didn't have time to dine in, we were able to order a take out sandwich meal from the restaurant. Thank you for making our travel smooth and easy. This place is absolutely memorable and we would love to come back again in the future!

What an idyllic spot in the lush, cool Panamanian mountains. The grounds are like a botanical garden and the hotel has lots of historical charm. The staff is unfailingly attentive, helpful and friendly. Truly a unique experience.
