I was missing an overall restaurant that served buffet style food. The two that I tried was el Faro which was closed to the pools and beach and El Criollo which was for breakfast and dinner. Most of the restaurants required reservations and although some prices in the menu were high, the food was superb!

It was in a well hidden beautiful location. It was clean, big, quiet and very comfortable . It transported me to a different epoch. Checking was quick and efficient and even though we got there early, we were able to do a pre-check-in, leave our bags and enjoy the premises in the meantime.

Awesome resort. It's the only place we stay when we go to Panama beaches. Might seem a little pricey, but worth it with all the amenities.

You can’t lower the air conditioner of the room. I like to sleep at 16C and it was at 23C. But there is a fan.

The staff has excellent attitude, the breakfast is very good, is very comfortable and the drinks at the pool were perfect.

Our suite was very nice and comfortable. The view was great! Buenaventura is such a wonderful place, we were amazed by the nature, the people, the food, all the activities there are to do… everything! We will definitely come back!

The location requires a little drive to get to other restaurants and facilities, but Buenaventura has a great selection of nice restaurants.

The whole facility and team are top-notch. Also the breakfast was really great with a good variety of fresh food.

The whole place is in need of an update, specially the gym is very much outdated. Even if we asked for an early check-in it was now the second time that the room was not ready at the regular check-in time 3pm.

It's a great location in a great place, specially for families. The pool area and the beach are certainly the main assets.

The room was wonderful, but we would've appreciated some basic toiletries (shower cap, sewing kit, etc.), and some slippers. The water in the bathroom was lukewarm at best. Even after maintenance came and checked on it, it was said nothing else could be done. It was ok after a warm day at the pool, but not enough to enjoy a hot bath in the bathtub. Not enough to ruin our great overall experience, just knit picking!

Wonderful hotel full of beautiful corners, surrounded by nature at every turn. The dinner menu at the hotel restaurant "Criollo" was outstanding, as well as the experience at night at the "El Faro" beach club. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful.

At 2 A.M i was awaken by a noise. I was in the 3rd floor. below there were people dancing and talking in a very high voice. I was in the 3rd floor and with my doors closed and it woke me up. I can't not reach the reception. I took a video of the whole thing and i started thinking that the behavior of the people at 2 am in the outside below me was not acceptable in the kind of hotel I was staying and made me very sad. Maybe the standards for Buenaventura are relax now. I stayed before and i never encounter that kind of behavior on any guest before. I can see from above the security man were just looking at the small noisy crowd and they didn't say anything to them

I love the comfortable bed and pillows, nice view of the pool etc.

What was somehow strange was, given the overall price of the hotel, that you still need to pay extra for a cappuccino or expresso at breakfast ….

It was our first family stay at the beautiful hotel and I’m sure it will not be the last. Everything from the rooms to the pool and beach was great. Even the dinner at the beach restaurant of the hotel was excellent and everyone including our kids found something he liked.

There is not much else in the area other than the resort. One of the restaurants did not have an English menu.

The beach is stunning. The pool area is wonderful and very well kept.
