How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything in the hotel is great, super spotless, the cleaning staff is friendly and helpful, the owners are lovely and the manager too
3 reasons to stay at this hotel: 1. the free shuttle service and I specified that it is monitored by the hotel staff for delays or anticipations 2. the cleanliness of the place is impeccable and always with good aromas and pleasant relaxing music throughout the structure 3. the location, this place is located in the most privileged area of Panama, forget about going to a hostile place and feeling like you're in a cell because nothing exists outside or it's dangerous. this is not the case here, it's a chic area with a lot of life, super safe, I as a single woman, came back from a restaurant at 2:00 am taking photos with my phone, a lot of tourism, good atmosphere and the education of the hotel staff is a PLUS.

We booked the suite, it feels like an apartment, it has a living room and dining room divided from the bedroom and bathroom, all parts are huge, and every detail is beautiful, the area is safe, we walked until 2:00 am without any danger, guided to a super chic bar nearby, good music, we will return and thanks for everything, good stopover

Everything was excellent, this is a good hotel with every detail one hundred percent curated.
This hotel is amazing, it has everything you need for a great stopover and the staff is super friendly. This message should not be here and I am sorry with the ORHO hotel but there are things about COPA AIRLINE that you should know, the CROWN PLAZA HOTEL is the same owner of COPA, the airline made me miss my flight for reasons that only they know as always and then they told me to stay at the CROWN PLAZA hotel but they do not pay for the stay because it is not their mistake according to them, I told them no, then reading a lot of news I discovered that these people have a monopoly, who makes you miss your flight, changes it and modifies it so that you rent a room in their hotel so the scam is complete, I do not understand why the Panamanian authorities do nothing about this because this is corrupt and unethical.

I felt super good in a place where they treated me very well, they picked me up at the airport and took me back the next day, I enjoyed a comfortable room in a very safe and clean place, free to walk, eat something and get to know a little bit of Panama, super happy and every time I am in Panama I will return to this hotel

I am Swiss, we are complicated when it comes to order and punctuality. This hotel did all its work correctly and very efficiently. I have no complaints. It is a beautiful place with very friendly staff who are always willing to help you because that is what really comes out of them, not pretending. Highly recommended. I slept like a baby, the bed was super comfortable and there was no outside noise.
