The house is simple, but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. The location is great,within walking distance to restaurants, the port, the main square (to catch the bus), and with a supermarket next door. Katarina was very nice and attentive. I would recommend it for an affordable and comfortable stay in Bocas.

Cute accommodation and very well cared for. Kitchen had everything I needed, warm water was working without problems, room was big and clean. There was a little outside area with some chairs and a hammock, which I loved using. Also property ist quite secure - for the outside front door you need a number passcode.

- there's no AC and it's very hot at night in the bedrooms. - the shower was too tiny for us (1,92 cm) and had low water pressure. - there's a long term tenant who doesn't really want other people there. She didn't do anything, but was a bit unfriendly.

- Very nice staff, that gave us some beer for free - good price and good location! - The common area is nice and the little terrace great to chill on a rainy (or overly sunny) day. - The beds were also big and comfy :)

Due to road works on the island quite noisy from 6 a.m.- just be aware of that- anyway life in Panama starts early morning...mosquito net in the windows would be good idea.

Nicely renovated wooden local house. Comfy beds, drinking water for guests( important as on the island can't drink tap water), very clean, equipped kitchen. Close to boats.

The window was broken and didn’t have the thing to prevent the mosquitoes to get inside and the bed mosquito net fell off, I couldn’t sleep because the mosquitos were in the room. Should definitely fix the window

NO AIRCON: I made the booking last minute and oversaw that it didn't have AIRCON. During the day, the room gets really hot but at night with the fan on, it does cool down. VIBE: I was there at low season so apart from me, there was only one more guest. As a solo traveler, it felt too lonely, hence I only stayed one night. If you value your own space without seeing many others (there are 4 rooms in total), then you will like it very much. PAYMENT: Cash only.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Jarek was incredibly helpful and so kind. He sent such a nice welcome message and I immediately felt like a valued customer. I ended up shortening my stay, which was no problem - I very much appreciated his flexibility. KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen including blender. AMENITIES: Room had lots of shelves and wardrobe to put things. Bathroom was a bit small but it was not a problem. LOCATION: About 5 min from main road in a residential area. I personally loved waking up to the sound of dogs and hens. other travelers may not. PORCH: It had a little balcony with chairs, perfect to enjoy your meal or watch people

The neighbourhood can be noisy sometimes but you are in centre of the town and that is how it is here in Bocas :-)

The fact that the room has openings above the windows means that at night all kinds of insects can enter if you use the big light. Sleep with mosquito net is necessary. Ventilator was strong but very loud.

Location is quiet from the party area, but loud from chicken, dogs, birds in the early morning. Cozy room, has everything you need for a simple stay. Jarek is a nice and uncomplicated man, and helps if there are issues. Great view from the room outside the window

I found this place last minute and really appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had self check-in, which made everything super easy. The hosts were easy to contact via WhatsApp and responded quickly. There’s no AC, but the bedroom has a large, powerful fan, and there’s another in the shared living room area, so it stayed comfortable. I also appreciated the comfy seating at the dining table. The kitchen area was clean and well equipped.

Noisy surroundings, but that also has its charm and atmosphere. Barking dogs, crowing roosters, squawking parrots are ok, but sometimes the neighbors turn on their Caribbean-style disco. Not everyone likes it, but I noticed that it is like that all over the city and it is hard to blame the hosts. +++

The property met our expectations. Perfect location. The facility is clean and well-kept. Although in an old style, a bit like grandma's in the countryside. But that's how all of Bocas is. The host is very friendly and communicative. Staying in this place is a great pleasure.

A little bit too noisy neighborhood

The location is nice, near center of the town, and it is convenient to go to the central city. Surrounding shops, restaurants, bars are plentiful, locals live. The room facilities are sufficient. The water pressure was small and not very warm.

There are streets under renovation in all town, a bit noisy of neighborhood. Locals like to have fun :) but they are very nice and know when have to stop.

Advantages: central location, trips to places like from a fairy tail, unforgettable atmosphere of the hotel - old Panamanian colonial atmosphere, delicious fruit, nice people, excellent hosts.
