The "family" room isn't connected--it's two separate rooms, both with wonky locks, so I didn't feel comfortable having my 8-year-old stay in the other room because I didn't think she could manage to lock/unlock the door in case of an emergency (or just needing to use the bathroom, which was in our room). The photos show that the rooms are separate, I guess, but it wasn't super-clear. One of our rooms also smelled VERY VERY strongly of mold--there was an air purifier running when took the room, but it never came close to removing the smell. When we checked in, the staff told us the water was 100% fine to drink (and the rooms only include tiny bottles of water), but both my husband and I got super sick after drinking it. Again, that's on us for believing the water was ok, but ... well, don't be us.

The view from the property is absolutely spectacular. The grounds are very well kept and the rooms are comfortable and stylish. We definitely would've been happier at this hotel if we'd rented a car--it was a pain to get a taxi each time we wanted to go anywhere. The staff was very nice.

Due to the rainy weather and humidity the room was quite moist. The hotel is on a very steep hill. It is challenging to drive up even with a bigger car.

A great place to spend a couple of days in Valle de Anton. Great views, very quiet. Fantastic and very helpful staff. Property clean and well taken care of, although it understandably has its limitations as it is a container hotel. Good restaurant also with great views where you have great free breakfasts if you stay at the hotel.

The amazing view comes with the added cost of getting to/from town - we tried walking, but had a dangerous encounter with an aggressive dog. We tried the local bus, but it's a long wait (and you'd have to pass the crazy dog first). The best option is a taxi, but this is $10 each way. Also, the restaurant 'on site' is actually a steep 5min hike away, which is totally do-able but not fun if it's raining! I'd still highly recommend staying here.

Friendly staff and easy check-in/ check-out. Comfortable room with an amazing mountain view. Hot water in the shower, which is nice because it can be a bit chilly up there! Kitchenette was perfect (microwave, coffee maker, some basic dishes).

The road the the hotel was in not a great condition. Very steep parts with a lot of holes in it. I would recommend to go there with a SUV or a 4x4. You need to be a confident driver to go up there, especially in the dark.

This unique hotel was worth every dollar, the view from the room was incredible. The restaurant is just a little walk uphill, with more amazing views.

The rooms are clean, but just a bed and a small fridge, no table or chairs where you can have dinner/lunch. Also there are no common areas or cooking spots, that would make the place really outstanding

Because the container’s walls were not covered with drywall, you can hear some noise from outside and from your partner in the bathroom.

This is not related to the hotel but important for people traveling: the road to get there is not in the best conditions, there are many potholes but is doable.

The location is amazing, the staff was there waiting for me, they gave me all the instructions, the room had a wonderful view, the night was windy so it was quite noisy despite being in the montains! My room had coffee maker that I used, A/C, TV and all bathroom amenities. They offer breakfast service in the restaurant Las Nubes, just a short walk up to the hill, they were very kind!
