The hotel is located in Casco Viejo which has restaurants, museums and stores to keep you busy. The bar had great cocktails and the French cuisine was delightful. The staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with them.

They are already working on improving their check-in process. It wasn’t bad, but they are streamlining it.

I loved the suite, especially the balcony. I had a lovely time reading there. The location was outstanding, so close to all the historic sites, shops and restaurants and I felt very safe the whole time. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff so friendly and helpful.

Not much to say here other than to not expect some amenities found in hotel stays, such as pools, gyms, spas etc. It is a boutique hotel and they do it well. The rooms were clean but the furnishings are aged and could possibly do with some upgrades.

Villa Palma is in an ideal location for leisure staying in Panama City. Casco Viejo is beautiful with tons of restaurants, bars, museums, and culture, while Villa is perfectly placed away from the bussle for good relaxation while still within very short walking distance for Casco plus short drives to most malls and tours. Checkin was a breeze and while all staff were great, we must commend Sain who was excellent and very attentive. Casco Viejo felt very safe, clean and inviting. Villa Palma definitely met our needs and accommodated any requests we made. Breakfast was also very enjoyable.

Reception was a bit small, and the restaurant and bar were all together at the front. It was like walking into a classic french restaurant.

The 2 levels does have its challenges. The room can become more spacious with different furnishings. The safe was giving trouble.

Our room looked "out" into a small interior "courtyard" where people might stand right outside. Privacy didn't become an issue, but this particular room doesn't have the greatest view - which didn't bother us either because we were mostly out and about.

Staff went out of their way to get us some food on a late arrival.

The only complaint is that the room seemed pretty ragged, and the walls, doors, and curtains were a bit stained/dirty. A deep cleaning, new paint, and new curtains would make a big difference.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful! The rooftop area is lovely, as is the lobby area.

This place is right across from the new Sofitel at the end tip of Casco Viejo. It's a wonderful boutique Hotel at the fraction of the cost across the street. The staff was very friendly. The place has great attention to detail. We were facing away from the water and our room was very quiet.
