Not a single thing. It was ideal

Amazing location, right next to the trailhead of the stunning hike I did. Lovely host and I especially loved the two little dogs that were there. To be fair, they might not have actually been the hosts, but they were very friendly. The room was excellent, super comfortable and clean. The added bonus of shampoo AND conditioner was great. Really helpful tips given and a very flexible host, thanks so much.

The location was good. It has beautiful gardens. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped.

A little more difficult to find and sometimes no staff around but it's a very minor criticism.

Very nice room with a good shower and comfortable bed Lovely location amidst the landscapes of the Valley and close to the India Dormida hike. Coffee with milk in the morning was a really nice touch and you can use the kitchen to prepare your own breakfast (shop very nearby) It's further from the town but an easy walk. I would recommend spending a night here (or in this area) and one in the town. You get the best of both worlds.

Didn’t like the fact that the water seemed to be cut off for some reason early evening without notification. It would come back on in the wee hours of the morning. It would have been ok if we were at least told that this would happen. No hot water in our room making for a chilly shower as long as we took it before the water went off for the evening.

Beautiful gardens to sit, relax and drink our morning coffee. Nice to be able to use their full kitchen for preparing and cooking our meals. We had access to the full kitchen including their refrigerator to store our items.

It was excellent. The accommodation is located in a very peaceful area, it has a beautiful garden and is fully equipped for both - short and long stays. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, wifi connection was fast - I have nothing to complain about. There is a space for parking as well. I’ve truly enjoyed and would definitely like to spend more time there.

Beautiful gardens. Nice quiet location. Next to the trail head for India Dormida. Fully covered so you can sit outside if it’s raining and enjoy the experience while staying dry.

Location is close to the start of the hike of the sleeping Indio. But it's a 30 min walk to town. It's a safe walk, but it's hard to find taxis in the evening. One of the ladies managing the property helped me to get a taxi to town with my suitcase. I think the price is quite high for the area and therefore 9 of 10

Especially I liked the laundry service. Very convenient! Although El Zumbito is not located exactly in the center of El Valle de Anton, its location is very suitable for hiking. The hiking trail to the mountain La India Dormida starts directly at El Zumbito. I enjoyed this hike very much!

Really loved our stay here. The room was comfortable, there is a well equiped kitchen which you can use, it’s located pretty much next to the trailhead of the India Dormida trail and the owners went out of their way to help us.

I wish we had been a little prepared for our walk there because we ended up dragging our suitcases about a half hour from downtown to get to the room. I'd recommend packing light if you're walking or taking transit/taxi there if you have a lot of stuff. This isn't the hotel's fault though! The room is simple and there is no hot water, but we enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful and peaceful location! It's just a short walk from the India Dormida trailhead, and I loved lounging in the hammock after a day of adventure. The host was very helpful and kind to help us arrange a driver to the Pozo Azul Waterfalls, as well as a late checkout to catch a chiva back to Panama City.

This is a perfect spot if you want to relax and calm down in a surrounding full of flowers and sounds of nature, with cute dogs chilling in the sun and ready to keep you company. I loved every moment of being in El Zumbito so much that we extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights. The owners take a good care of the place - it is spotless and has everything you may need - it feels they want to make your experience the best possible. Keep in mind El Zumbito is located at the end of the town, which makes the surrounding quiet and relaxing but it also means you need to walk about 20 minutes to the bigger shops or restaurants. It’s a pleasant walk though so you don’t necessarily need a car. Also the house is just next to the entrance to the best trail in the whole area - La India Dormida so you can reach the summit very quickly for a sunrise experience. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Valle de Anton again!

Lots of barking dogs in the neighnoirhood at nighy, nothing to do with El Zumbito.

The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were amazing. We used Google translate thr entire time and got on well. The location in walkable from downtown & places of interest. Otherwise taxis are UISD2 per ride. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

As often in private houses in Panama - windows and doors cannot fully be closed from air. Always a bit of air is coming in - so you'll hear the noises of humans and animals or even the weather like wind and rain. But nevertheless it was still possible to sleep good. I was lucky, the dogs were quiet and I did not hear many people. Earplugs are provided by the host.

Very friendly d helping hosts. Even prepared breakfast for me. Very clean and tasteful. Place to park the car. At the beginning of the wonderful hiking trail La India Dormida. Air-condition wa s there but I did not need it als well as a fridge.

I was missing a dedicated place for a luggage in the room - not a must but an improvement idea :) otherwise all was perfect!

The hosts are lovely people. The accommodation offers everything one needs for a short stay. There is kitchen available for your disposition, we were even allowed to do laundry & dry free of charge. The Internet connection is great, there is a fridge in the room. The town is astonishingly beautiful, lots of things to discover. Our time in Valle de Anton was so far the cherry on the top!

The owner are very helpful and kind. Acc omadation is family owned and right next to the entrance for the hike to the india dormida. After we checked out we left our bags there and went for the hike. Unfortunately we got surprised by the rain and were soaked. The owner gave us a towel, a drink and we were even able to take a shower, very kind gesture.
