Amazing location next to the reef and jungle. Can see much wildlife here. Also this rural place somehow has the best food we have seen in Panama.

Dependent for food/transport due to location so might as well include it in the room price.

Wonderful and very comfortable cabin in the water surrounded by Mangroves. Sloths, howler monkeys and tons of birds and fish. Fantastic gourmet food. Wonderful hosts. Perfect relaxing spot. Such a cute eating area bar and dock!

We absolutely loved the stay at Cocovivo. We stayed in the Treehouse which was just incredible. The lights coming throug the mosquito nets in the morning and the sound of the sourrounding jungle made the sunrises truly special. Also the nature around is just beautiful. We saw plenty of sloths, monkeys and a wide variety of maritime wildlife within the beautiful reef. The staff is also inredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome and integrated without putting any pressure on you that you should book any tours through them. Special thanks to Nikita and Mercedes. The food by Andrea was amazing. If we would visit Panama again we will come back to Cocovivo for sure.

The staff are so kind and considerate. Although the place is rustic, everything is well-planned and clean. The reef is amazing with huge fishes and a tiny wreck. Lastly, the food was outstanding.

The location was amazing with lots of sloths, kinkajous, dolphins and howler monkeys. The food was amazing and delicious and the staff Melissa, Luciano and Leo were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel at home and to have the best holiday. The reef was pretty and there was lots of opportunity to swim, kayak and visit local attractions and Capitán and Mazoo the dogs were lovely too. We were able to mix with another family that were there and so it was really sociable. We will definitely be returning.

    Nothing -We loved it all

Ulrich & Elisabeth have built something wonderful & truly unique with CocoVivo. The reef is spectacular & right there!! We had monkeys playing in the trees above the house, sparkling bioluminessence each night, octopus sightings on a night snorkel with ViVi, and the best, best food from chef Andrea. Thank you, everybody at CocoVivo, for making our holiday so special ❤️

    Leaving! 😊

This was a magical place all around. We stayed in the mangrove cabin which is absolutely beautiful. The coral reef is perfect for snorkeling anytime of the day. You really feel like you are in a remote area although you are 30 mins from town. The team at CocoVivo was sweet and made you feel at home.

Beautiful location, extraordinary coral reef, fun and warm staff, and the best food I have ever eaten.

The cottages are comfortable and have everything you need. They run off solar, so you get small fans. It will be hot during the day in your cottage, but we just hung out on the dock where the community kitchen and eating area is. The dock is shaded and you get much more breeze there. If I got too hot, I just jumped in the water.

I loved all of it. Mostly that it is bringing awareness and education to many. The staff were so kind and mellow - leaving a relaxing vibe. The food was, of course, amazing- you will not want to waste a single bite- literally. I really enjoyed the togetherness feeling of communal dining and shared common spaces which also helps build bridges between people.

There wasn't really anything I did not like. Maybe a reminder to guests that rain will come in and may get things wet near the screens? (which wasn't that important to me personally). Maybe throw in a few more hooks or clothes line. Or maybe we all just use our beautiful brains and figure it out!

We only stayed for 2 nights (and would’ve stayed for more), and had an incredible time here. It’s not a 5* luxury hotel by any means, but the nicest place we’ve stayed probably, it’s a great place to unwind and relax- the coral reef and surrounding wildlife could occupy you all day if you wanted. Thankyou to the team for looking after us so well, the 3 course meals for dinner are fantastic, and it’s great to eat at the same time as other guests and meet people from all over! This is top of the list for places I want to come back to!

Yes it is a little rustic, however this adds to the experience of being on a remote island. This is clear in the description of the property, so don’t expect a 5* luxury hotel!

We already miss them and will 100% be back for a visit. We saw sloths, monkeys, dolphins and lizards. We loved every single second spent here. If you are into a rustic jungle vacation with some awesome snorkeling and food you should come here!

Everything was amazing but you def need bug spray. Its the jungle… its expected.

The location is superb, remote and separated. The Coral Reef much better than expected. In fact the best we saw in all Bocas del Toro. Well worth to go only for it. Great food and help on everything. The whole team helped make our stay a great one Special comments for the bioluminiscence swimming at night. This is real must.... Fantastic

Nothing really. They did very well with what they have

Absolutely loved our stay, Melissa and Luciano made us feel right at home. No request was too much. Really good food, best tuna we've ever had. Beautiful location, relaxed and laid back. No frills kind of place but everything done very tastefully. Stunning scenery everywhere you looked, we didn't want to leave!

Maaaybe more fans in the accomodation but thats only if I'm really looking for a negative. Be prepared for bugs but that's to be expected
