I liked it so much, I stayed for a month! I stayed in one of the studio style units that has a bedroom and bathroom down below and a kitchenette and small seating area up above. It was the perfect place to make breakfast and lunch from the comfort of my room and on my own timetable every day. The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from access to the point, which is the premier world-class surfing break here in Santa Catalina. The owner and the housekeeper are both amazing, very helpful, super friendly women. The place is amazingly well maintained, and the AC and power will keep on working regardless of whether the utility company is functioning thanks to the trusty generator on site. You cannot go wrong here.

The lady owner was lovely. Even gave us a lift to the supermarket as it was raining heavily. The decking at the back with the hammock is beautiful. The house is clean and well equipped

Great location between the 2 beaches, lovely clean and cool accommodation with good kitchen facilities and nice coffee. Paula is so helpful. Also had a trip out to the Catalina island by kayak which was fun. Nice pizza place and ice-cream shop nextdoor

Amazing! We loved the pink house. It was very clean, large, comfortable, and quiet. The hostess was attentive to all our needs and very helpful--she even did our laundry for us! There was wifi, a coffee maker, hot water, air conditioning, and very comfortable beds. Highly recommended!

Nothing. Perhaps the price was a bit on the high end, but then Panama is not a cheap place to travel and we were there over Christmas.

The kitchen was very well equipped: many pots and pans, plates, cups, toaster, bowls, toaster, cutlery, coffee maker, even a blender, basically much more than we needed. Our little house was very clean and quiet, as it was located slightly out of the village center. Still, everything was very walkable. Thank you, senora Paola!

The accommodation is very comfortable with everything you need in the kitchen to make meals. Even a comfortable sofa to enjoy the meals on! Good wifi connection too.

In general the electrcity is not stable in the island. But they have their own generator. So just be patient as the island will have not internet or wifi access some time as well. Just relax and be patient. As just travel to chill and relax there.

The host is very responsive for the queries I have. 5 mins walk to two hostel/hotel next to Casa Maya. Can enjoy the pool/ocean view when have drink, breakfast there. And the sunset point is also 5 mins away.

It was all fine

We really enjoyed our stay in casa maya - it is a very clean and comfortable house with a good atmosphere. It had plenty of space for a family of 4 to eat, relax and sleep. And we were glad to have a well equipped kitchen to cook some simple meals and to have air conditioning. All the staff was very nice and we felt very welcome. The location was good to - quiet, near to a great pizzeria and gelateria. To the big beach was a bit of a walk, so we took the car, but the centre of town and smaller beaches are not far.

Check in was super easy. There was a sign on our door with our name welcoming us. Paola was always there to greet us and ask us how we were doing when would return from our outings. The room was extremely clean. The A/C worked great!

We loved everything about staying here at Casa Maya. Our little bungalow was just the right size for the two of us and although we never used the kitchen facilities it seemed to have everything needed. We enjoyed the fresh coffee provided in the morning It was beautifully and simply furnished and space well thought out Paola helped us with directions prior to arrival and booked our bus when we left.. she’s just lovely We were out most of the day but the favourite part of our whole day was relaxing in the hammock with a glass of wine late afternoon.. bliss !
